Germany Good, Nazis Bad

Was it Germany? Was it Germany and... someone ELSE!?!?
In reality, the starting point of World War II wasn't the German invasion of Poland, although that was the first real battle of the war. But the starting point of the war was several years earlier, just after World War I, when the victors - Britain, France, USA, etc. - decided with the Treaty of Versailles to punish Germany, whom they saw as starting the war.
The stipulations of the Treaty restricted Germany's economic growth by requiring them to pay war reparations to other countries involved. It also limited their military expansion. The result was a terrible economic situation in Germany during already difficult global economic times.
This situation, a depressed German population, a depressed German economy, laid the groundwork for an insane, manipulative, and horrible dictator to batter his way to power...

really funny you say that since for exemple France only asked the exact same sum of money they gave Germany 40 years earlier after the 1870 war and France paid 1200 billions in todays $ in gold all in 2 years doing all sacrifices required while Germany still more than 100 years later didn't even repaid half of it to France without mentioning that Germany did hundreds of billions more damages in France as the they destroyed entire cities and killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, destroyed, forest poisoned lakes and one of the most agricultural productive land in Europe and on the planet for hundreds of years. When you consider all of that not only the treaty of Versailles was fair for Germany it was clearly not enough to repay any damage they caused.

Cavalry with anti-tank rifles was actually extremely dangerous. Most of soldiers operated as dragoon, only using horses for mobility. In fact most armies including German one, rely on horse cavalry early in the war. But it was actually easier to build a truck, then rise and train military horse. But when they were used, they were actually quite effective.

@@VinriPLYeah, Poland was left and betrayed by its “fully capable” allies, plus the polish army wasn’t just horses, that’s most of all German propaganda. Yes it’s true that Poland had a huge cavalry regiment, but Poland was also equipped with very powerful equipment, just not enough was mobilised to hold two fronts at once, due to pressure from the west, which really screwed Poland over, and Europe as a whole. If the allies had helped Poland and France continued its invasion of Germany in 1939, the Second World War could of been prevented, plus a second Polish republic holding strong💪🇵🇱

Actually, Poland was modernising its military, it was going to be entirely modern up to 1942, it just have really, really many problems along virtually everything, it was a patchwork from territories of three empires, each with different infrastructure and laws, there were many reforms to be pulled off, infrastructure to standardise, and modernise just about everything within country, at least Poland don't have that much unrest and instability, considering that 1/3 of country was inhabited by multiple minorities. Cavalry was equipped with anti-tank weaponry and made good use of it, those little ammount of tanks wich Poland actually produced were ingenious and very high-quality, often proving superior to german counterparts, there were simply not enough of them, but the thing wich truly lead to downfall was lack of aerial power, pilots were excellent, but airplanes were obsolete by a large degree, and most of heavier models, like tactical bombers, were destroyed on airfields, because Polish government doesn't want to agitate germans by ordering lift-off, wich was dumb, but hey, ZSRR and Britain make this same mistake and get big part of they air force destroyed on airfields when germans attacked.

@@mrghostly1118 Numbers of war machines, Polish army wasn't small, it just have low ammount of tanks, mechanized units, planes and overall highly mobile stuff, and lack of highly mobile army formations was very problematic in fight with highly coordinated and mobile german army. Most of Polish army wasin the east, because soviet invasion was deemed more probable than german; they proceed to relocate those forces to the west when germans attacked, and just when Polish army seemed to finally start stoping germans soviets attacked, having only border guard on they way to entire east of Poland it was sure how it will end, even considering how heavily armed this border guard was (they have light artillery) Everything go into disaray after attack, often volunteers were reaching some point where they were meant to be trained, only to see that it was relocated somewhere else. There is example of good weapon wich was so secretive, that most were not even used, since they were packed in crates taged as something entirely different, Ur, or wz.35 anti-armor rifle was very capable weapon, and one to two hits of this almost always guaranteed dead of german tank crue, those weapons doesn't even penetrated armor, they were just relaying so much kinetic energy that metal from inside a tank turned into shrapnel and killed everyone inside, but without knowledge about this they often were shoting dozens times just because dead driver body was still leaning on controls.
