I apologize for any confusion, I made this video at the Palm Springs Air Museum during a visit. I was astonished on how many people watched the video, I scored the video with original music, I am a musician and I do not build models. I thought the model was super cool and especially intricate and desired to make a video to showcase that. I just didn’t want to have any viewers think that I made this and also did not want to take credit for something I really do not know much about. I just posted it because I think it looks cool. Thank you for viewing and sorry for the confusion.

That's not a German U-boat at the start. They didn't have four torpedo tubes Aft, the type VII only had one, the type IX had two, the rare type XXI didn't have any. I would guess it's either a Gato, or Balao class US sub as they both has four stern tube. Another sign it isn't a German sub is right at the start, there is a shower head in front of the bunk. Everything thing I've seen/read on them, have made points about the German sub not having showers, just toilets.

There are three ships shown ( that I can tell ). The first ship appears to be a USN Iowa class ( judging on the arrangement of the 5" secondary turrets ) the second ship, the one with the life rafts hanging, looks like it might be CV-2 USS Lexington or CV-3 USS Saratoga, not enough shown to know which. The third ship, the one with three planes midships, appears to be a USN New Orleans class cruiser ( it is the only one I could find pictures of that look similar in setup ). Several USN cruisers had twin midships catapults but they also had funnels aft of them so they were ruled out. After the New Orleans class, most USN cruisers moved the catapults to the fantail.

1:37 One of wooden deck planks is .0000001 Nanometers out of place. Throw away the model - throw out both models just to be safe - and start over.
