Nicely done! There are now three ships that have had the KIDD name; DD-661, DDG-993 & DDG-100. DD-661 is a museum ship in Baton Rouge, LA. DDG-993 is in the service of the Taiwan navy as DDG-1803 (Tso Ying). DDG-100 is on active duty with the US Navy. The KIDDs were named after Admiral Issac C. Kidd who died on the bridge of his flagship, USS Arizona, during the attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. I was fortunate to have served aboard DDG-993 KIDD from ‘84 - ‘89. Long live the KIDD name and heritage! Nil Sine Magno Labore - Nothing Without Great Labor.
