Georgia Tech Music - The Lion King's Circle of Life (Elton John)
Georgia Tech "Heard It at the Movies" Spring 2013 Concert featuring GT Chorale, Chamber Choir, and Symphony Orchestra. Recorded at GT's Ferst Center for the Arts.
This collaborative live performance was rehearsed together only once (and recorded by my dad 😄) by several different music programs at an engineering school so zero of these performers were music majors or professionals. Rehearsing and performing with these groups was our way to make friends and develop self-confidence through music, a welcome reprieve from cramming for exams. This was probably my second live vocal performance ever and I was simply a baritone in the choir. I fondly remember those days learning to sing with others and wow we were so incredibly fortunate to have a Grammy Award-winning vocalist (Laura Inman) teach and conduct us! She inspired me to audition for the chamber choir and to further pursue music. I really miss being part of a choir and hope to take it back up some day but if anyone's interested I'm currently playing guitar/keys/synth in a heavy psych-rock band ( / moonlusttheband ) and we'll be releasing our first singles beginning 1/6/23! I'll link it when it's out 🙃

So creepy i wish Elton John sung here
The music was great. The vocals were weak. But, after all. You are competing with Elton John. Good attempt.

Erm, well even if the vocals were weaker this person isn't competing with Elton John as he wasn't the one who sang it in the film, it was a woman. I think you need to re-listen.
