the greatest loss in music, the world ever expierienced. There never had been a better vocalist in modern human history.

I still can't believe he's gone. Every SINGLE song from Careless Whisper to this day I just never tire of. I so wish he was still here - singing , bringing us joy and making us think. I have listened to this song hundreds of times - he's done Rufus proud - what an amazing performance.

All we have of this beautiful man is his videos. Thank you for posting them. I miss George's music, and so grateful for these videos. It is 2023 and George was voted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame.. As long as I live, George will always be the best singer. Hope and pray he is watching and knows that his music will last forever. Which is what he wanted. An amazing human being. Loved deeply.

My understanding is that he was aware but that isn't the same as having a private love. You can have loving folks all around and still feel alone, sadly.

This man was pure class as a singer and in person he helped so many people and charities without publicity. Gone too soon.

5 years ago today, one of the greatest singers of our time passed away. This masterpiece is a wonderful memory and a very personal swan song to a morally degenerate nation and hypocritical society. But also a memorial against violence and for tolerance to all of us, to accept people as they are and let them freely seek their happiness. Georg is in a far better town now. What a great song!

It is difficult to describe just how extraordinary this vocal performance is. Rufus wrote such a beautiful tune and his version is brilliant. George's version transcends all versions imo. To sing this clearly, in this key but with such control and respect for the song and not make it about the singer's vocal chops and indulgent nuance is a masterclass in class and humility. It is what he does not do that makes this one so good for me. He cuts through the note like Sinead O'Connor might but with more reserve, so the song comes piercing through to us. And that may be because the song cut through George. He always worked his socks off on covers and often elevated them above the original takes, like his Long and Winding Road and Someone to Love. George has been such a huge part of my life in that I spent so so long listening to him, singing along to him, screaming my heart out to him and spending so long trying to get my hair like his since I was a teenager 😂 and I know I'm not alone. And in the 35 years I've followed George and seen him many times live from the last Wham gig when I went to London from Dublin as a 14 yr old on my own, to seeing him do Symphonica, buying the 12 inch of Last Christmas every year for years (even though it's not really a Christmas song) because of the added tracks, his dedication to his image was rarely matched and his voice and singing was so clean, so worked it was almost dismissed because of how it was packaged. And now, we can all enjoy his great work without fear being judged ourselves. For me, George was a great songwriter but an incredibly gifted and crafted singer that only a few can match. Thank you, dear Giorgios Kyriacos Panayiotou for your amazing dedication and for sharing your tremendous work with us. Bless you deeply, my dear Brother. All the Love. All the Love.

I'll be 60 in April and in my whole life time I've NEVER Hurd A more Beautiful voice like George's, there will NEVER be another Voice like George's, his voice is like cutting soft butter, so Smooth, Calming, Emotional, Personal, heartfelt. In the older days they would have called him A Crooner, because his voice is so smooth. There's not a day goes by that i don't watch A whole lot of George Michael's Song and Video

Stunning! Legend! He had a heart other humans around him. A Legend for being there and not wanting the attention. You´re missed Michael.

His voice is just so perfect, it emanates tangible emotion......it comes from an exceptionally sensitive soul.

I do soooo love this!! I click on the repeat button and I can hear George singing this for hours. I love it. Beautiful, so heartfelt. He understands and he lived and lives what he is singing. I think this song's lyrics (by Rufus Wainwright) are some of the most beautiful I've ever heard and George's voice is perfect for it. Altogether, this is a true masterpiece.
