Such a sweet thing. It’s a shame he passed so young. I wish there was more historical tournament videos of him out there (besides shells wonderful world of golf)

thank you for this great video, Knudson was an amazing striker of the golf ball - i feel he was way better than the pros of today, who have poor fairway accuracy...

Its incredible Knudson won only 9 tournaments with that swing! To put it charitably he was a terrible putter, particularly with distance control. Golf is such a crazy game. You can knock it five feet from the cup, but you still need to drop the putts. His was a smooth natural swing with an effortless gravity driven movement. How appropriate to have that pretty sounding piano as the back beat. What a far cry from the violent lashing swings of today. Keep the new guys, give me George Knudson and the classic swingers. If only he could putt!

George knew & didn't just lash at it how sad he died at age 51

Someone commented about George's closed stance. He did that because one leg is quite a bit shorter than the other. By closing his stance it allowed him to be in balance. George was a good friend and it is a shame that he was a chain smoker. We lost a quiet soul and good man way too soon. Yes, it is also a shame he was such a horrible putter.

his putting doesnt look bad - i know he and moe hated putting, and they played the game where if u missed a fairway, u paid 20 to other guy, and if u missed regulation on, u paid another 20 and 100 for each flag stick hit. i read moe one time hit the flat stick 6 times vs knudson lol
