George was extremely spiritual. His wife said when he died and his spirit left his body the room lit up bright and slowly faded.

@Andy Dhoc physical mechanism? Spiritual manifestations require no physical mechanism in order to occur. Still, I am reporting what his wife has been quoted as having said about his transition. Of course we are all free to accept or reject her statement. There is much science has yet to explain and while I respect your skepticism I would caution you on your absolutism. Be well.

@Andy Dhoc your failure is being an absolutist and rejecting anything but physical phenomena. Science tells us there are multiple dimensions but offer no physical proof. I suggest you remain open to the possibility because having a closed mind is a denial of the essence of science.

@Andy Dhoc I did answer your question. I was reporting what she said. I did not agree or disagree with her experience since I was not in attendance and so can not confirm or deny the event. I greatly respect your extensive studies as well as your position on the matter. I too have experienced things/events, some of which I have not found a scientific explanation for the occurrence. I know there remain many scientific discoveries to be had and among them will no doubt be ones in the areas we are discussing. So, I keep an open and inquisitive mind in anticipation of new revelations. I submit you might be well served to do the same. Be well.

When George died, the children from his old primary school in Liverpool, holding candles, sang this on the steps of George Hall on Lime Street. It remains of the most beautiful, moving and touching things I’ve ever seen. A fitting tribute to a beautiful man.

How appropriate: "I really want to know you, I really want to go with you...but it takes so long, my Lord." A journey of 30 years is completed in an instant, the past and present are suddenly linked. Amazing story and fitting for this song that clearly was not written but was rather inspired.

George was sued for this song, and it was settled out of court. The medley is nearly identical to He's So Fine by the Crystals. George claimed he had never heard that song? Hard to believe, because it was also a hit in England. It all worked out and people love the song.

It brought me back to being age 12 and a teenager…..zapped me right back…..and I cried like a baby for 10 minutes, in my seat, when it was over. It overwhelmed the CORE of my youth. Pple were staring at me and I still could not stop crying ….blubbering…..hands in my face. I will NEVER forget how those songs transported my young life like a forgotten time machine. Same thing happened to me with a particular song I heard as a child, I'm guessing 10 or 11, and up until about a year ago I rediscovered it by accident. My lost song not only left an impression on me but I found myself looking for and recognizing benchmarks of future occurrences mentioned in the song throughout my entire life. My GF, worked at the hospital in SI, NYC, on the floor, where George Harrison spent his final days, working as one of his nurses. And it was such a bitter-sweet situation and one that she’s very proud of. At that point he didn’t quite have all his faculties. But she said that he was somehow serene and accepting of what was going on. And it’s one of those career moments that go beyond “pride”, that she counts herself lucky to have been there at the time to do what she could to make his final days as pleasant and painless as possible. While I personally did not get to meet him, which would have been overstepping a significant boundary, I was just happy to hear the stories and small details of his experience. And to know that she could somehow give back to someone who gave so much to the world. So, yea, I am sort of vicariously living through her lol. But I can tell it effected her greatly and made an impact on her life and mine through her.
