Froch deserves some credit for his commentary here. Respectful and genuine on George’s night.

And the standing applause with the big smile when George won the title. That's really classy

One of the most humble post victory interviews you will ever see from a newly crowned world champion! Have always liked Groves, and have been vindicated with this talk, is 2023 and I still think of Eduard Gutknecht, I hope he is doing OK back in Germany. It should be a reminder of just how cruel this sport we love can be! Yes they know the risks, but it's still shocking and tragic when sever injuries and death occur

Just got thinking about this moment after talking with someone, George is a good guy at that moment he could have been caught up with his moment of glory after losing championship fights before but you can see the pain in him.

Groves run with Shane McGuigan was brilliant. He fought some top fighters. Murray, Chudinov, Cox, Eubank & Smith. Great times.

If it wasn’t for the shoulder injury he would of beat smith even at 50% one judge had him ahead against smith

Groves is my fav U.K. boxer. He had some really great wins and only lost to top competition. Was so happy to see him get a belt. His right hand was spiteful.

Was generally happy when i watched groves win the title. Was unfortunate in the first froch fight and then obviously got knocked out in the second one and lost a close decision to badou jack in America but that come back run he had with mcguigan was class and glad he won the belt and made some really good money from the WBSS before he retired

22:50 @0.25x Right Hook Body - Left Hook Body - Right Uppercut Split guard to Head Pull LH side (Bluff). Right hook to Head pull RH side (Bluff). Double Left Hook.. George just touches Chudinov here, blinding him to the foot shift, brazenly manoeuvring his man into position, having bewildered him with one bullshit filled, layer cake of a setup. Just taking the absolute piss at this point. Right Hook with the little foot pull is almost nonchalant, not a doubt in his mind that it would go in. Then actually measures Chudinov with the Left hand before doubling it.. Repeats.. 💀💀💀💀💀 All takes less than 7 seconds. George knew his way around a ring.

Considering the unfortunate outcome Gutyneck. Will not fully recover unfortunately, George Groves did not hold back and that must of taken a lot of mental strength and determination. GG can look back on a great career.
