Because 90% of the MP's in that room take direct handouts and stocks and shares from the corporations, banks and pharma companies who are all owned and controlled by the establishment. There were a handful who don't, such as Galloway and the late Robin Cook, and they HATE them. I dont always agree with everything he says but I admire his balls to at least bloody well try... so many have resigned and stood back and I'm like ok I get why you're not happy with things but stay and fight for things will you? What does resigning do. It registers a moment of your disgust and then you wash your hands of it all? He genuinely seems to believe in what he says and not saying it for clout and I'd rather have somone genuine because at the end of the day if somone is genuine and I disagree with them I know that if the disagreement is reasonable and fact based they might change their mind on it. But a non genuine person saying everything I want to hear who says it without genuine conviction is dangerous. Keir starmer disgusts me.
