Carlin is the GOAT of GOATS. Not only the funniest, but more than likely the most intelligent comedian all time. He said when he was a kid his mom challenged him with new words and phrases everyday. He literally knew how to use the english language better then nearly anyone.

Also Michael Jordan has pointed out there were other players better then he was (LOl), it's called being modest and humble with respect for your peers. You'd look like an asshole coming on TV and claiming you are the best, you let others do that. Comedy central in 2004 had a top 100 comics all time #2 was pryor, #1 was carlin.

One of my favorite skits but man that line ....they call it the American dream cause you got to be asleep to believe it . Amen George.

I think when people say save the planet, they mean keeping it habitable for life... when the planet went through a lot of these things like asteroid strikes, etc. it resulted in a lot of species going extinct, or it was just at a time when life didn't exist at all on the planet.

In the '80s George did a comedy tour with Woopie Goldberg and Billy Crystal and he always had to open the show and take the stage first. His Opening line was "The difference between a comedy show and a gangbang is... one of them you wanna go on first".

Sure. But how selfish is that? Those eco-morons keep saying about "saving" the planet when all they mean is saving humanity, there's a massive difference. The best thing humanity can do for the earth is to get rid of itself if it's not selfish. Think about that blink and how uninhabitable it could make earth for us. How do you think earth feels about that? Just fine and dandy, I think. Earth will be fine, we'll be gone, for the better. Then earth can repair itself.

Georges wife was a producer on Chris Rocks Bigger and Blacker special. Both were also in the movie Dogma a movie from your reaction religion is bs you would like it is only on KZread.There is a good Chris Rock show interview of George but a serious interview.

The world lost something so special with the passing of George Carlin. That man told it like it is like any great comedian should but the thing about George is that his comedy was deeper than just comedy it was actual truth-telling that opened the people's eyes about ridiculous things. Like saving the planet. Or my personal favorite his bit about who exactly does and does not have a right to complain about things go go on in America. His theory that is 100% correct and yet always gets push back...... Is that if you voted for the person in power and you don't like the way things are going you need to shut the fuck up because you're one that put us here. He says that he doesn't vote at all and therefore he is one of the few people who has a right to criticize absolutely everybody because he had nothing to do with that person being put in power. People like to say that if you don't vote you shouldn't get an opinion but that's absolutely ridiculous. It's beyond ridiculous it's downright low IQ thinking.
