You can't have Polynesia without #Samoa. This country is the OG Islander. Thanks to YOU guys the Samoan Geograpeeps for helping out and ESPECIALLY explaining the incredibly simple Fa'amatai system. Wow. What a complex legislation system!

Barely relevant story: in Japan I recently visited the Little World open air museum near Nagoya and in the Pacific Island realm, the Samoan traditional houses needed some fixing, so they actually brought in a crew from Samoa that still built traditional houses with historical methods and around the site there were signs with information about what they were doing and posters with the bios of the crew and phrases in Samoan and a message that encouraged people to talk to them about their craft and country when there was a chance. They were working the whole time so we couldn't chat with them, but we heard them speaking Samoan to each other the whole time and we told them thank you for your hard work according to the phrase poster and they thanked us back in Samoan. I just thought that was really neat. I'd love to see Samoa some day.
