Hello Barby, can I make a correction for you? The names "north" and "northwest" are wrong. The state of Bahia is located in what we identify as the "northeast" region of the country. As for states like Acre, Roraima - mentioned in the video - or Rondônia (state where I live) are located in what we really identify as the "northern" region of the country.

bom, ele deveu corrigir a pronúncia do R em lugar do D. A pronúcia do D como J antes do E só existe em Brasil e nao em todos os dialetos (mas existe na maioria acho), o pronúncia única do R ao início duma palavra é partilhada em todos os dialetos senao quase todos (acho que só os galegos pronunciam como no espanhol).

Hey @geographynow. Correcting some facts on the deforestation of the Amazion: 70% of the food consumed by the Brazillian population comes from small family agriculture (the source of this info is the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE). The deforestation is largely cased by ultra rich and large tycoons, and it aims to vacate land to produce mostly soy or other grains aimed to feed cattle. The ultimate goal: export and make more money. So its actually way more complicated than that.
