All SIN is S-elf, I-sh, N-ess! Even that first SIN of the garden scenario as recorded in Genesis 3. Adam and Eve were told this lie: " you can be like God "..... They had been with God in relationship as they walked in the cool of the day in the middle of the garden each day of their existence. The very reason for their creation. To abide with God and the Son in an ever deepening love relationship! John 15:1 -8 and John 17:3 . Yet, upon hearing the lie from a creature they had never encountered before they simply had a choice to make. To be like God or simply go on being with God! Like God or with God. The gift of choice given man became a curse when man decided in S-elf, I-sh, N-ess to be like God instead of continuing to enjoy being with God. Then that has been our great problem, rebellion, intentional rejection, SIN ever since. Romans 3:23 .

Gen 3:10 NLT says Adam was afraid because he was naked… not fear of God. They didn’t want to be seen naked.

I understood it as … as soon as they ate the fruit and started to cover themselves .. the weather was no longer perfect to them.. and so the moment God appeared they must of gotten the Chills or something

Satan in the form of serpent decieved Eve, but no mention of Satan till then in chapters 1 and 2. Kindly elaborate how Satan came into being in this context or before this context. Does the story of the fall of Lucifer come before this incident?
