This Is why I would of loved a film solely about the origins of General Grievous. A full powered Anakin/Vader would destroy Grievous,even possibly Darth Sidious himself.. But it didn't turn out that Way.

I've been appreciating the origin and lore videos. Would you be willing to do a video on other jedi and sith (I'd love to see one especially on Ludo Kressh and Kao cen darach ). :)

I had always had the impression that Sidious had requested Anakin to lead the mission against Grievous simply because he knew they wouldn't choose him; and it would be just another resentment Anakin would have against the Order.

Ya know, after learning more about him, calling it cowardice feels unfair imo. Dude is waging war on the greatest power in the galaxy; using an army of mass produced and low quality goons against genetically engineered super soldiers and prescient space wizards. Man has good cause to bail if he doesn't think things are going his way.

With all the abilties Grievous had, he was no match for Hondo Tonaka, who captured him. Hondo knows how to handle light saber maniacs.

I wish we could get a Star Wars What If…? Show like the marvel one. Id love to see what could’ve happened if windu did succeed in stopping palpatine or a million other small changes that could’ve changed everything or like if Anakin never went to the a dark side and padme survived and they raised their kids, shit like that would be so interesting to see even if it’s just an animated series

So off topic if you haven't watched at least a few minutes into the video but I always found it fascinating that Windu effectively beat Palpatine and could have ended the Sith right there if not for Anakin's interference. He even did better than Yoda against Palpatine, I guess you could say Palpatine was more "all out" against Yoda by that point he had no secrets left or had to hide anything, but his life was at stake, and you can't convince he knew Anakin would help. If he did count on it then good for him but damn he took a lot of damage for that plan.

I definitely think palpatine planed for anikin to intervene in that fight as a way to show the jedi ain't as good as they make themselves out to he was already slowly trying to turn anikin long before then

the amount of times in the clone wars show where i thought “if they just did xyz then anakin would’ve never become darth vader and order 66 wouldn’t have been executed!” but because there would be no story without a tragic genocide, and believe me i wish they killed palpatine, it had to happen.

Palpatine was literally playing with Mace. He knew Ani was coming from the Jedi temple and was stalling for time so Anakin could see for himself "how low the Jedi have fallen"

Mace's form of fighting was a direct counter to Sideous. Yoda fought Sideous on an even field beating him in saber combat and stalemating him in the force.

Force push and Force crush should be the advantage any Jedi would have to nullify the General and avoid Death

Time and time again... the Light Side is painted as tools and in turn do more to truly create their own enemies - I don't understand how the only way to make the story work was to blindfold, hands tied, and lost thinking portrait of the Light - its almost as though the Light Side plays Light and the almost Neutral/No Power Side too!

The more lore videos i watch the more and more it seems thatbthe jedi and the republic are the ones behind the very enemies they arebtrying to defeat tonmake peace. Sure the sith give em a target but they werent the ones to give em that rage

The fact that none of this force use didn't just use the force to crush Grievous like a soda can is one of the dumbest things in the Star Wars universe

@@bemeek the Jedi use presicence to predict the pathways of the blaster bolt. And it's not supersonic, blaster bolt is technically an ion gun or a laser gun so it travels in either light speed or near light speed. So a jedi is that fast.

General Grevious lore movie

Grievous is a fierce and I can't believe Obi-Won could defeat him. It took the force and assault to chest out of desperation. Obi-Won greatly under-estamted defeated many and Dooku died.

I still don't understand why some Jedi didn't just cause Grievous to float helplessly in the air and spear him with their lightsaber. Why face him in fair combat if he did not possess the Force. We could have literally pulled, "Quit hitting yourself" only have him smacking himself with turbo mode 4 armed lightsaber version 🤣 Oh George! You and your plot holes...😉

Not someone who could be trusted like Vader. Also, someone needed to be the scapegoat face for the separatists after he let Anakin kill Dooku.

@@piercinglikelightproductio9382yeah I would think so too. At least until he was sure of Anakin. Palpatine told Dooku the plan originally was for Dooku to be exonerated and Grievous to take the fall for the atrocities of the clone wars. But I think it was portrayed as being a lie. Can’t remember 🤔

Vader, malgus, sion, nihilus are all jedi killers greater tha grievous both in power and in bodycounts. Then there are other obscure ones like darth desolace who is said to have killed 1000 jedi. Grevious is deadly but nothing special all flash no substance

Every statement about Mace Windu is horribly wrong. Vpad didn't channel HIS dark side. It used the OPPONENTS dark side energy against themselves. The more dark side the better. It reflects back on the user. That's a fact. ALSO are you stating that Mace Windu thought Gravois would beat him? When Windu wins the what does it matter if he learned his light sabre style? Why the Jedi dueled him instead of shooting him with a sniper or freezing him in place with the force and cutting his limbs off or using an orbital bombardment or a hundred other solutions is beyond me. Also Vader choked an officer to death from across the galaxy with a thought but the Jedi have to be within 10 yards? Really?? So frustrating

I could’ve done without Greivous to be honest. I actually think they should’ve given Ventress his role and let her be fighting with the training of Dooku. That’s just my opinion at least. Ventress should’ve been in the movies. Or they could’ve just used both characters and explored a little bit of their backgrounds. I didn’t hate Greivous or anything, but I think they missed a good story by not using Ventress in the movies. At least in ROTS she could’ve had a small role even.

Obi Wan got lucky. Grievious was a true terror

While I certainly appreciate what goes into the production of these videos, these compilations bring down the overall quality. For example, section 1 is in here twice, and the cutting from one video to the next is frustratingly bad in many instances. Also, your audio levels are all over the place. I respectfully suggest that you set your levels once and then put a sticky note or something at your work station so that you know before you even start where to set those levels. One of the reasons I’ve not been able to bring myself to subscribe, is that I find it incredibly difficult to listen to more than 1 of the short videos at a time. Btw, as I was writing this, the first segment started to play yet again.

I think it has more to do with the fact that mace would be unable to use the dark side against him since grievous isn’t force sensitive
