I always believed he was so powerful because so many other force users died at the same time. I think the force became concentrated in this one child in a similar way to Anakin. Since he was so powerful at such a young age, it's possible the force was so diminished in the galaxy that it tried to "pump" more midichlorians into Galen.

His voice actor is the best too. IIRC he voiced Darth Maul in SWTCW animation too. He has the best screams. And his voice actor is responsible for making the Sith chant thing canon after Disney took over by saying it in the animation.

No! Screw remasteres and make the third game with its own compelling story and characters. Or same game play model with more! Would like to see a more parkour type force sensitive user that isn't a Jedi or Sith but is the reason for their unnatural abilities. Think Titanfall pilot or Assassin with movement with gadgets and even blaster play. Could be a mercenary or bounty hunter. Could be open world sandbox too. Would be awesome moving force jumping and scaling buildings of our favorite SW cities. Throw some flying vehicles to boot. SW has so much lore to explore outside Jedi/Sith/Republic/Empire.

I just realized when Darth Vader first finds Starkiller on the Wookiee homeworld, he shreds his way through warrior Wookiees using double reverse grip blades. Perhaps his fondness of the double reverse grip is a nod to his childhood.

Starkiller and Luke are nearly the same age, it would be so cool to see a friendship between the two characters in a movie or videogame

Closest we saw was the that one DLC where an evil Starkiller took Luke as an apprentice after Luke tapped into the darkside to allow his friends to escape from Starkillers grip on the Millennium Falcon.

Never even played the games and still love him (I'm just a sucker for "lore" of franchises I like essentially, but not that big a gamer).

At the end of the day I just want a Starkiller game on new gen consoles and PC. Starring: Sam Witwer

14:01 Bane was good at that, both defense and offense. He relied a lot on form 5 as well, but his form 3 was so strong he could wield his lightsaber outside in a torrential rain and still remain dry. That made him a far more effective fighter that someone who goes all out with form 7.

He used Form V Sith Shien, and Ataru Form 4, He also used Niman Form VI . Sith Shien moved in fast, short swings that moved had short controlled bursts of speed. Ataru was his knowledge of Martial Arts, acrobatics and physicality. And Niman balanced-out all his Lightsaber combat Forms with knowledge of The Force.

I never played the force unleashed but I watched every mission in both games on KZread and heckin loved the story just a complex and tragic character he is definitely a top five favorite character for me

Galen Marek is fully canon for me, as far as it goes. Also, I still think his victory over the Emperor was fully legitimate. In that moment, he gave in fully to the Dark Side, and could have easily struck him down, but the extreme unfairness of the game makes the dark side ending choice EARLIER - and in a place I would never have guessed. Killing Vader is a stupid choice, not a Dark Side one. Especially given how the whole "betrayal" Galen suffered at the hands of Vader was a play orchestrated for they eyes of the Emperor. If anything, I came to the Death Star grateful to Vader, not out for his blood.

Enjoy the next hour folks I know I will!! 👊

What always struck me is WHY Like an only sometimes Ezra an Asoka REALLY dug in to fight the Empire. An apparently only Like did a crap ton all the way to the VERY end. Becoming so involved with the Rebels he even held both a Master Jedi and fairly high Rebel leadership rank too. If the others AND Starkiller had stayed right from the the times they started fighting and stuck with Luke an the others start to finish the Empire woulda probably lost quite a few battles on e this powerhouse crew arrived. Even WITH Vader since he could only take on so many at once an about ALL these proved they can somewhat hold their own. Especially since Galen, Luke An Tano can even overpower Vader if they absolutely have to. What's an army of Stormtrooper an they walkers an support vs alot of VERY powerful.. an one or 2 among them also very Pissed off Force Users working together to crush them an send them running for their lives

And altering the movie(s) to account for later EU/lower canon tier content would be controversial to say the least. Really need to thread the line, hence other "Jedi" alive at that time were essentially always introduced as former MIA, like Celeste Morne, K'Kruhk, A'Sharad Hett or Quinlan Vos.

So at 48:00 there's a Legends character who is basically what I always thought they were trying to make starkiller be somewhat based off of in terms of strength and temperament, Kyp Durron. Basically just an obscenely powerful force user who's raw strength was significantly higher than Luke's, but he lacked the discipline and skill. This is very much what we see with starkiller, all of his powers are incredibly strong, but are not focused. And are all fairly basic techniques, just with a lot of horsepower behind them. This would suit Vader's purpose perfectly, as he is in essence a high octane wrecking ball, meant to take out the target and anything that could even remotely be considered a witness, so you want something which leaves an incredible trail of destruction with as much mass casualties as possible. There is no witness if there's no one left alive. An incredibly inefficient but effective method, especially when partnered with his handler and infiltrator Droid able to handle surveillance devices that he might show up on.

The reason I think he's so strong is because of the rule of 2. With the rule of 2 all that dark side force is in one master and one apprentice to chase it. In saying that the force always balances it self. So when it comes to jedi after order 66 much of the jedi were gone leaving the light side of the force to balance it self into 1 individual. So similar to rule of 2 but on the other side.

Okay but in the game didnt galen go to organa, and help set up the rebellion, as well as them using his family ensignia as the symbol for the rebels to remember him by. So if he did show up in rebels it would have to be Starkiller the clone right?

Just nice to see with turned Jedi not the other way around. Anybody is capable of good even a sith as a Jedi does good and can fall.

Disney would ruin it. They ruined Palpatine’s revival as seen in Dark Empire (source material)….so they’d kill off Starkiller in some lame way or ruin his character by changing his backstory and nerfing his abilities

galen marek was a badass, i think one on one he would take almost any sith or Jedi master.. his full contact, no hold back style of fighting made him a very dangerous force user... one of my favorites!!

Starkiller is probably the most interesting character in Star Wars because he was the first character introduced that asked the question: is the Dark Side is truly evil? And even if it is, can a person can walk the line between and still be a good person?

In TFU 2 Starkiller changed his fighting style to incorporate Force abilities and dual-wielding and switched to Niman.

I'd say yoda just senses there was something different about starkiller and just went to the tree to great him and see this person that's a little different. That's the exact type thing yoda would do for that reason

I doubt Yoda could sense anyone coming to dagoba, the same way it shields his aura it would equally overrun his own to where all he sensed constantly would be the dark side

Wonder why they used the inquisitors for kenobi instead of star-killer. Star killer I'm pretty sure is alive during kenobi and it would've been narratively way better. Instead of Darth Vader why not have his apprentice known for hunting jedi, look for obi-wan. Starkiller and Obi-Wan would be an awesome lightsaber duel, offensive vs defensive, and it would explain why Darth Vader doesn't see obi-wan until a new hope. Legends > Canon

Ahsoka used Ataru not Shien Anakin used Shien sometimes but mostly Djem So Starkiller never used Juyo his Force abilities weren't developed enough...he used 'Sith Shien' a variation of Shien that is highly aggressive and was created by The Sith and known for the reverse-grip.

I love this character my strikes with a sword are sharp sudden and specific with no base no form and no preference preferring instant unpredictable death strikes so detached from the situation yet so sudden they melt defensive strategy and thus are very effective and adaptive

I would very much love to see an episode of tales of the Jedi where yoda goes into the cave. Perhaps George Lucas could even give the go ahead to show yodas planet and species with him as the ruler. Just not give it a name or location and be very ominous about it. Or even grant him a vision of destroying sidious. Then have him leave the cave and dismiss the visions and power to wait for luke.

Bear in mind galen merrick was stated as being capable of being more powerful than sidious and was a extremely powerful duelist only matched by revan/darth revan since they both mastered all forms of lightsaber dueling but revan lived for a much longer time than galen so he had more experience

the force unleashed was my first star wars story game and i had the time of my life doing all the force powers and lightsaber combos against the helpless enemies it was fun. if disney makes him disney canon as an inquisitor(which is the best way to implement him into disney canon) i wouldnt mind him being less powerful bc in my head he will always be the starkiller i know and love!!!
