Hey Mimi, I just came across your channel and I'm not LDS but I am Christian, and it's great to see your passion for your faith! I loved what you said about people of all different faiths and backgrounds coming together during this pandemic and praying for breakthrough. Thanks for sharing Mimi. I’m not actually a member but f the church but I enjoy watching you guys chat about your faith. It must be tough for you right now with all these temples and your churches closed. It’s the same with ours. I’m JW and many of us use Zoom Do you have your church meetings over zoom too Mimi?

Hey there, thanks so much for your comment and all of the support! So sorry to hear that your churches are also closed right now - it’s definitely sad 😔 I believe it depends on the ward (the congregation) if they want to hold Zoom meeting services because we have been instructed to conduct the sacrament from home and have a home program (kinda like Sunday School). So my ward has been doing a short Zoom call not in replacement of church, but to check in on the members and make sure everything is going alright!

Mimi Bascom. Yes it’s a really sad thing for us too that our places of worship are closed right now. For us those that can get on zoom can try to worship that way or otherwise we have a website where talks (some may think of as sermons) are provided. I’ve watched your channels for over a year and I always enjoy learning about your church and your teachings. Everybody that I meet from the LDS always seem so positive and warm so you guys must be doing something right.👍 We also have stopped our evangelising work. Im assuming your missionaries will also have been sent back home from their missions?

@@cultfiction3865 Some missionaries have been sent home, if they had things like asthma that make them more susceptible to Covid-19. But for the healthly ones, those who were serving in a country other than their own were reassigned to a mission within their home country. A lot of our missionaries now teach through video calls in their apartments.

I don’t know if I could speak at General Conference. I’m 16 right now and I wish and hope that if I was asked, I would be able to say yes, but I’m so nervous when I have to speak in front of a lot of people. I already have mental breakdowns when I have to give a talk in my ward 😂

I get freeze dried (25-year shelf life) food storage from Thrive Life. Maybe the best place for you to start is with a 72-hour kit. Have mine, but discovered it has no clothes 😲 Oh well, guess clothing is overrated 🤣

A circle inside a square is found everywhere in the Bountiful, Utah temple - even the fence around the temple. Might be in other temples too - I don't know. But do know this is a symbol of "earth meeting heaven". You have the square, for corners of the earth - and a circle representing eternity or heaven. There's a lot of symbolism used in the church - especially in temples!! Oh, and a side note - every time in the Bible videos (where they built the Jerusalem set), when you see any wood in the buildings and it appears to be burnt? Yeah, that came from the fire which burned the Provo Tabernacle- and it rose like a phoenix from the ashes, and is now the Provo City Center temple.
