Gemcutting - Accidents Happen
0.62 carat Rhodolite Garnet
Everything started off well cutting a pear shaped design until it popped off the dop. My attempts to save it didn't work out but we still ended up with a beautiful garnet.
I'll cut another one match and make a pair of earrings soon. Also, looks like there might be a nice pear shaped lemon quartz coming soon.
