To answer this question I've owned several of these for my kids at a young age they're perfect for a beginner but I'd get training wheels as well even if your kid is 8 or 9 yes old you tip a bike over on yourself it hurts regardless. If you're looking for a cheap bike I would go with a SSR or a syx moto both will hold up longer than the GB will. Dont expect to get much more than a few years out of the bike and you will be replacing pull strings constantly

I've been reading them too, I'm looking for a bike for my son for Christmas. I think I'm going to take a chance. Worse case scenario, I'll drive from San Diego to their office....

@@jessicacastaneda1191 and they're all pretty much the same the syx moto, ssr etc etc are all just beginner cheap Chinese bikes. I started my kids at 3 yrs old on cheap bikes by the time they are 5 they get a Honda or ktm like I ride.

@KingSamoan OG my kid is 8. My entire family rides motorcycles so I don't know why I'm so nervous for my son to but I am. If he does good on this one he'll get a good one next year 😵

Its 2 stroke (gas and oil) and top speed is like 30 mph depending on your weight

This bike is so bad Thats why I got the syx moto because its more faster than that GB 50 moto and that GB 50 moto is slow and more smaller than the syx moto.

Your is slow this one you can make it to 40miles per hour and the syx only can go up to 30

The only way any of these cheap Chinese bikes are going anywhere near 30 mph is if nobody is on it these bikes are lucky to hit 15 mph with a rider on it
