I went on Amazon and bought the cheapest and most expensive pocket rockets they had for sale! We bought a 33cc pocket bike that was the cheapest and 49cc pocket bike that was the most expensive. These Amazon pocket rockets are great budget buys, but are they reliable enough for everyday riding and racing?

Get one, ypir never too tall for a pocketbike
Me and my friends went to a car show/swap meet 20+ years ago and came home with 3 pocket bikes. Quite possibly the best summer break I can remember with us riding around the neighborhood alongside friends on mopeds, 50cc dirtbikes, and motorized scooters. Did the neighbors call the cops on us more than once? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes.

I bought one of the cheap ones ~$350 when I was 14. Saved up for months to buy it. It ran decently for about a year but it was just never reliable. Pull start broke. Carb leaked. Chain always jumped off. If you ran it for 15 minutes and shut it off you’d have to wait til it cooled down completely for it to restart. Chain broke once and I left it for years. When I was 19 I finally decided to get it running again. I bought new chain tensioners, chain, clutch. Took the whole thing apart and repainted it. I got one ride out of it. Down my driveway and back. Shut it off and then it never started again. My guess is magneto or something. Just isn’t worth my time to keep fixing it. Been sitting by my shed for 2 years now. That’s the reality of these cheap ones, constant cycle of breaking and fixing. All the parts are the same “Chinese” quality so there isn’t really much room for real upgrades. Just new parts that with inevitably fail again.

I used to import and aell these at my old shop. the carb on your buddies definitely needs adjustment. its common for the throttle cable to not open the carb all the way
Something is restricting the blue one's engine, i owned a pocket quad when i xas youg and there was a plastic thing just behind the air filter after that he was kinda fast like 70km/h
I think it adds traction😂😂😂
When I was younger I use to race these in a league called WCMRA (West Coast Minimoto Racing Association) around the time when they were first introduced into the United States from Europe. Polini/GRC pocket bikes use to cost $800 to as high as $2,500 depending on the CCs and if they were water or air cooled and would go as fast as 55mpg to 85mph. You guys should get those next! lol

This brings back memories. I had a roommate that couldn’t legally drive because of a multi year suspension. He bought one of these when they first got popular from a pep boys. He would drive all around town in the middle of the night. I hope he finally grew up and got his license back.
This is so so nostalgic to me wow.. I had that blue one but it was 49cc and had an actual undertail exhaust on it and was wayyyyy faster. My buddy had one called a blata or something like that and it was water cooled and crazy fast, it had ridiculous power band and the seat would get so hot from the exhaust you couldn't sit on it if you were maxing it out

I love the videos. I’ve been fighting stage four throat cancer and with that, have had so much time to catch up on all the antics of my favorite crew. SRK cycles has got to be my favorite group of fellas. I’m an avid rider, albeit my bikes aren’t the greatest and I’m a dad first and foremost, so riding times have slowed. But with the cancer and weight loss I’ve hardly been able to ride at all. But thanks to my favorite crew of two wheeling dudes, I’ve enjoyed some of the forced down time by hanging with my KZread riding buddies. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming. I’ve still got a long road ahead of me, but with my family by my side, some good bike (and the occasional car) videos at me disposal, I’ll be able to get back on y feet, safe a few pennies and come to the shop to buy a stellar rider soon enough. Love ya guys!
