I began at Lackland AFB in April 1970. Much has changed, but the Form-341 lives on. [grin]. One of my fellow trainees was from San Antonio, and thanks to him, we had dates for our day of town leave. Thanks Tommy.

Although this was two years ago, congrats to you and your family. This experience will be with you the rest of your life. The exercise has grown since my graduation in December of 1964. I made a career of the Air Force and retired in May, 1985. Be safe out there.

I did five (5) weeks at Lackland then they put on a bus at 0600hrs and shipped us off to Tech School, no graduation events in those days. Nice they do it now..

Something to be proud of Ron! And he chose wisely, out of all the branches of armed service, the airforce has the prettiest women! Where is he stationed, and what is his job?

Not that it matters. But @ 7:34min it is a strange sight to see a coed flight ✈️ 🤔 passing in review? Perhaps it was a "one of" formation to showcase some extremely high achievement airmen? Just a thought. Sometimes circumstances dictate such things. I'm proud of these young men and women!

As long as I'm noting odd things, this has absolutely nothing to do with this video 📹 but @8:40min the airmen are taking their oaths of enlistment and the captions were playing and the text was really funny and not a word was what they said! Once again thank 🙏 all of you for your service!

You join after meeting certain requirements, not everyone is qualified, and not everyone can make it through the basic training.

Thomas Myers not everyone, just because “you think it’s easy” doesn’t mean it’s easy for everyone especially if they haven’t been prepared
