That's wonderful! Great job like always :)

What you could do is record the whistle noise on your keyboard with your phone, then put a Bluetooth speaker in a box van towed by percy and you can then play the whistle sound whenever your want on your phone but it will play the sound out of the Bluetooth speaker making it sound like its coming from percy. 👍

I used the ocarina instrument setting on the Yamaha PRS GX-76 for the whistle ;)

Did you convert the motor to dc power? If so how hard was it? I recently purchased a br 80 to make a gauge 1 Percy myself.

Yes, I did. It wasn't too difficult, all you basically need to do is remove all the wiring from the motor and replace the copper field coil with an ESU permanent magnet. This blog article pretty much explains it all: carstenbahnone.blogspot.com/2016/?m=1

I noticed in part 1 he had a motor in him. Do you plan to make him run at some point? Im wanting to make a gauge 1 thomas with smoke and making him run but Idk how to find a motor that does it

Hi, thanks for the support! My Percy model as seen in this video is motorized through DC track power. The motor itself is from the Märklin BR80 model with its coil winding replaced with an ESU permanent magnet to convert it from AC to DC. Although since then, the model has been further converted to run on DCC.

Yes indeed, I did. It's quite sad to see the current series deviate so far from what was originally established. However, I'm still thankful that we still have the classic series still available to watch on VHSs/DVDs as well as dedicated fans producing their own content.
