Hello, my name is Tim and welcome to the channel of Enginefan020! Here, I build gauge 1 models of the characters from Thomas & Friends! I also make collection videos on various Thomas merchandise lines, and sometimes make stories with toy trains. Thanks for stopping by! :)

Please make this video I need help with how to build an smoke mech for a big project
When are you doing part 3 of the gauge 1 Percy and painting him in green and his smoke box black and his running borde red?
Who is he making?
@@JaedenRobinson-bv3fd Chassis for someone else's Percy model.
Please tell us did you finish!!?? We're all dying to see the final touch!!!
@@JaedenRobinson-bv3fd Wait and see... 👀
How did you get the BR80 locomotive?
I purchased one on the German eBay website, ebay.de
Percy was German 💀
The more you know...
Percy had a wonky eye in the start
You have earned a new subscriber! This is freaking sick bro! 🔥🔥🔥
Yo! How’s Percy goin? Just asking as I can’t find any recent updates
Percy is alive and well! I'm a little behind in videos I have planned for him, it's just a matter of finding time to work on videos again.
i saw a little funni spark also i have this old engine way back its model and its side rods are jamming it cuz the front wheels making the side rod go up and the back one is making it go down?
I believe the spark might be caused by dirt that accumulates on either Percy's wheels or the track, of which then I would need to clean. To be quite honest, I'm not completely sure what you're asking. What type of model engine do you have that's causing the side rod issue?
@@Enginefan020 Uhms i forgot
oh.....
Oh Oh?
Unironically the sound design in this video is awesome. I just wish the background music was just a little louder because it's so fun! It makes the whole process feel like a hero's journey!
Thank you so much!! I wanted to try new ways to improve my video skills while keeping my content both entertaining and informative. At the time I had invested in better audio equipment to improve quality. I'll definitely keep your comment about making the music a little louder in mind for future videos!
Nice!
With the eyes being slightly off, its now season 2 accurate 😂
That makes me feel a lot better about it LOL! Thanks!! :D
@@Enginefan020can you send the link of the Plastic Spheres/ Eyes. please?

@@Enginefan020 Thank You
U improved so much oh my god
Thank you! I try lol
Buenas tardes una como me puedes decir de que tamaño y altura es el modelo de percy porfa
Quite a predicament percy Is in
Hey! i’m a big fan of yours, and i wanted to tell you some news! i recently got my hands on am ENDER-3 V3 Printer and i’m currently printing out the first piece for percy, which is his tank! i wanted to know exactly how you motorized your model, so if you could help me with that, i’d be super happy! thanks!
Hi, thanks for the support! My Percy model as seen in this video is motorized through DC track power. The motor itself is from the Märklin BR80 model with its coil winding replaced with an ESU permanent magnet to convert it from AC to DC. Although since then, the model has been further converted to run on DCC.
@@Enginefan020 Hey! thanks for the help! unfortunately here in brazil we can’t find any BR 80 models nowadays… do you know a store that would ship it here??
@@Waffle1888 I know how you feel. I'm from the United States, and even here Märklin models are very scarce. eBay will most likely be your best option.
@@Enginefan020 thanks for the help!
@@Waffle1888i would recommend printing the chassis and wheels and adding electronics into it, that would probably be cheaper and easier than getting a br 80
Who made the awsome music remix ,and where can i find it , someone tell tell me pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Music in this video: 1.) "Percy the Small Engine's Theme (Remix)" by E-122-Psi 2.) Viaduct (Thomas & Friends)" by Coker0415
Sweet vid, love how the model is coming along . Butt I have to ask , where the music is fro
The music is "Percy the Small Engine's Theme (Series 1)" by S.A Music
So I need to know, what do you use for the eye balls?
In this video, I used shank buttons, but I've since abandoned this method in favor of using Delrin plastic spheres in my newer models. :)
@@Enginefan020 that’s what I’ve been told but I can’t find those balls? Do you know where I could get some?
Beautiful model, can't wait to see it painted!
Thank you!! As of writing this reply, Percy is currently in the painting stage! ;)
Exactly the same way I make couplings for my O gauge wagons! 😁
Hey hey are you okay the only thing that we are mostly concerned about is if your hand is okay and if you broke it because if you really injured your hand that could be very very bad mainly for you and also where do you get these models like where do you get the chassis from the actual marklin website
Hey no worries! I'm completely fine, my "injury" in the video was only done as a joke (I tried in the second shot to make the chop look as fake as possible). As for the Marklin locos, many of them won't be found on Marklin's website as they are discontinued models. However, you can find them sor sale fairly often on the German eBay website ebay.de
This is fantastic! Looking forward to seeing more from you.😊
I suppose your doing a eye mech for Thomas too?
Absolutely!
Would’ve been funny when he got a hole he had the frightened face
It would!
Since Percy and lady are the same size I bet it will work for lady
Yep! The overall eye mechanism set up should work for just about any character from the TV series.
Love this!
Thanks man!! It's good to hear from you again! :D
Am i the only one who noticed a spark coming from below Percy in the first clip?
Oh yeah your right
When the world needed him most he returns love the vid
Thank you so much!! :)
