Great video! I just picked up the lynx professional in 36”

Do any manufacturers make a matching grille and pellet smoker? I want to have them as identical as possible for aesthetic reasons.

If I were to go with Lynx - I usually cook around 400 degrees, currently use to a 15 year old Lynx with all ceramic deflectors on the top. Replacing that grill - if I go 100% all ceramic burners vs. 100% all trident burner - I don't want any significant flare ups or uneven cooking - does it make any difference in your opinion for flareups or uneven cooking - if I do all ceramic or all trident? I ask because I like the idea of the all trident option heating up quicker.

Did you purposely leave out the most important feature of the Hestan grill? Hestan is the only grill on the market to feature their rotisserie burner facing down like a salamander broiler. This allows the person grilling to sear, broil or use it as rotisserie. Let’s also not forget to mention it’s the only grill on the market with a fully double walled hood. There are many more important features that were left out but I wanted to point out a few key features.

You make a great point Nick, thank you for commenting! It is indeed a unique feature that we didn't give too much detail on. The rotisserie burner opens up tons more cooking possibilities - not only does it cook evenly with the automatic rotisserie but it can double as a broiler if you use the warming rack to brown items such as casseroles or macaroni and cheese. Definitely a unique selling feature!

TEC is the original. And yes, their hood is double walled. TEC pioneered the infra-red burner on the bottom! When their patent ran out everyone else copied!

TEC does not have a fully double walled hood. They do have a unique infrared cooking system though..

What, nothing recommend from TEC (you know, they pioneered the infra-red burner on the bottom!) or Solaire? TEC is the hands down the BEST grill. All the others are copy-cats.

I see someone made a big mistake and bought a POS TEC. Whats wrong? Mad because there are tons of better grills? TEC is for shit. And they didnt pioneer shit.

I care not for the lights inside the grill hood.

Many people feel the same as you Paul Yarek! Unless you're cooking at night, the lights may or may not be useful to you.

Lynx? Really? Number One? That has NOT been my experience. Between the shabby Quality “Assurance” practices and their almost non-existent customer service, I would run like hell from another Lynx purchase! I have had two Lynx 36” Built -In grilles at my home and we STILL haven’t been able to get either one to work probably. To make matters worse, it takes MONTHS to get a replacement (for some reason you go to the BOTTOM of the waiting list instead of the TOP, where Lynx-related manufacturing mistakes should be!) and weeks to get a repair person to come look at it. After over SIX MONTHS of trial & terror, I just threw them out and am re-evaluating another purchase. And all this, for a $6,495. Grille with a $759. COVER! I have never had such problems with a $500 Weber purchased at Home Depot. Pathetic!
