I lost my wife of 10 years at her age of 29, we have 2 daughters at the time of 5 and 8, she was my best friend and lover, we married young while I was in the military. 3 yrs later god blessed me with a beautiful loving women that’s helped me heal, and one day while waiting for me to get ready for a date she played this song for me,omg I cried to her and 18 yrs later we have 2 more daughters and 3 grandchildren, to this day I still love and miss my first wife, but I’m so deeply in love my my wife now, life couldn’t be better.

I lost the love of my life. She was my everything. She fly back to the Netherlands to help with her father who was dying of cancer. She got sick right after he passed and had a stroke. They ran test and she had stomach cancer. She was healthy enough to get past the stroke and cancer. I never dreamed when I kissed her at the airport that I would not see her again. It has been 8 years but it still feels like it was yesterday. I will never get passed her. I love her today the same.

I had a boyfriend when I was 14, who loved me right away... within two weeks of dating me he told me he loved me and I was the One for him... it scared me being so young and he was 3 years older than me, he was good and o was wild... we are opposites. I broke things off cause I was scared and didn't think I deserved him. My sister played this song for me and told me This was his song to me... we have been together now for 15+ years and married almost 12, have 2 beautiful children and I reminisce on those things. Hearing this song cleared it all up for me when I was 14, he was for real and loved me and was willing to wait on me to be sure... he is the One for me.

I just found out She's gone to heaven a couple days ago. I am saddened I tried to check on her many times over the last 11 years but never stopped to say hi. What made you fell in love with the song?

This is the perfect song for what my lady friend who is My Darling and just got divorced from a guy who put her through hell. She is so lovely inside and out and I weep for her and what she has and is going through until she can mend emotionally and get her life back on track and I pray will want to spend the rest of our years together enjoying life every day. It's a simple desire but, so complex getting there.

My Mother and Step Dad just celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary on 5/5/24. They are both 68. This was the song they danced to at their wedding. I watched them practice in our basement and I broke down in tears when I heard this song and saw how my Step Dad looked at my Mother. I still choke up. She had not remarried since she divorced my Father when I was 2 and she met a lot of not so nice men. Seeing that look of love, it sent me. ❤ I had never seen that look from a man myself and I was so happy for my Mother. This song is just so perfect and beautiful. May everyone find their true ONE...❤

Wow the words in the song are more powerful then most understand. Unless you.. have been in an abusive relationship and had a non love you so much. That he could never show you anything but love!

Looking back I now know I met the 'One' when I was 16. He was 18. I was young and naive... wasn't ready for that kind of commitment. My wish is that he was able to find someone who was ready and is happy. I hope I can still find that special person out there.

Gary is a great singer/ dad I have grown up to his music I love this song along with other’s he has written for other artists. I finally got to Gary’s concert with my wife last Thursday the 14th at Poplur Bluff Missouri at Black River Colosseum it was a great concert. He was there back in 2018 hopefully he will stop by in the future. I’ll definitely be there to see him again. 100%
