    the best editing of the century to even make it look remotely like a mark the ball never touched his hand. Although it hit his wrist his stomach and the ground

    Clearly the best editing of the century did the ball even touch Gibletts hands um let see his wrist, his stomach the ground, so in spite of the freeze frames trying to make it look like it touched his hand there are five replays here and even after 5 replays i dont think it touched either of his hands maybe it was close to his left hand when the ball fell on his stomach

    Nah, the ball hit his hand, then bounced off his body as he fell. At no point did he have any control of the ball. The umpire who paid it must have been drunk.

    I disagree he did not tip it with his hand they just freeze framed it when the ball was in front of his hand to make it look like he touched it. he only touched the ball twice, when it bounced off his wrist and when it bounced off his stomach to the ground.

    @Hannibal L Most of them are Geelong supporters or like hyperbowl eg Don Scott Rex Hunt, the irony is some international people go to see the greatest mark of the century and they think what on earth is that must be a really stupid sport so this nonsense actually discredits the game

    It can't be "mark of the century" if he didn't mark it!. And if he did, it was maybe mark of the round at best. So "mark of century", what embarrasing fool came up with that idea, haha classic stuff man! Definately mark of the game, i admit!

    The vote is in 24000 views and only 47 likes everyone knows it was a good leap, very nice editing by channel 7, and a very generous decision by the umpire but it wasnt even 'a mark' let alone mark of the century. So 0.2% of viewers was all that bothered to like this farce of a mark

    To every idiot who doesn't know the definition of a mark.... The ball is controlled when it's pinned between his arm and chest, The ball is expelled on impact to the ground, Ball was controlled all the way to ground therefore it obviously has to be paid as a mark by the umpire!

  • @edwardbakadingo4261

    @edwardbakadingo4261

    yeah but when you freeze frame it to make it look like his hand touched it when he didnt that is just editing. watch the full motion. There has never been an AFL rule that says if you held it to the ground and then it drops out when you hit the ground its a mark. There was a rule in the NFL which said the ground cant cause a fumble, you are making stuff up. its ajoke he never pinned the ball it bounced off him twice he was just falling like the ball was.
