Garbage truck took the turn a little too tight and the road was extremely soft from lots of rain. Very hard pull but came out absolutely perfect! #GarbageTruck #Heavy #Winchout #Leaner #Recovery
Жүктеу.....

Done that job a thousand times, but from the front, or rear, put a 10inch strap over body diagonally to right rear corner attatch to 1 winch, stops rolling and helps stand upright also helps pull casualty forward, then simply use other winch to pull truck forward also, all that side strain on that poor old truck is not good!!l

Finally turned the front wheels to the right, to help the pull on the front. And the rear was being pulled high on the pulling truck, tending to tip it over. Already high pull, so keep the cable hooked low on the tow truck. All physics. But very interesting recovery.

Did that truck still go down the road after you pulled it out? It looked pretty bad. Also, I'm surprised you don't have snow on the ground out there unless this was videoed a lot earlier.

I try and pull them out the way they went in when it's just dirt, it's different if they mowed down trees but I couldn't see any reason for not just pulling it straight back. If it didn't tip with all they did it would've rolled right out.

Interesting. From the tracks he just cut the corner and drove it in. I bet the next time he goes in there he is hugging the high side. Dirt driveways can be the pits.

Doesn't look like your front chain is clearing the tire. That'll definitely add more drag to your winch set up. Also the front tires are going to follow the rear tire ruts. Because it's the path of least resistance. Betcha that driver doesn't do that again!!!

you should have put some timber behind the wheels to make a ramp for them, it would have saved the mess.
