My local game store employs an ex-Games Workshop manager and he is far happier working there than he ever was working under the bizarre corporate nightmare that is Games Workshop's demented middle management system.

Games Workshop’s treatment of its employees, failure to give credit to artists, predatory pricing schedule, woke policies, etc. are why I now loudly and proudly buy/use recasts and 3d printed stuff

Ah sorry to hear about grandad North, hope he's OK

I painted almost an entire army of squats in a GW store during the days of either fifth or sixth edition (can't remember exactly which one now) and there was a lot of interest from other customers both young and old. I insisted on refering to them as "They who shall not be named". I even lent some to the store to show off when it was anniversary of 40k (25th I think).

I hope your grandad is going to be all right North. It sucks that he's having a rough time.

QUESTION FOR NORTH: I dont really have much interest in video gaming, but i'll sub to the new channel just to help numbers. If i'm not watching the videos does that still help? How about if i watch the first 10-15 seconds and then quit out? I'd like to help it get going, but just not interested in watching the full vids. Cheers. Best to your grandad too.

Sub, mute have running in an different tab, think you need to watch the whole thing for the full benefits to click over but not a youtuber.

@@drmwatson15 I considered that, but I usually only have the phone running for YT (laptop and desktop are running corporate VPNs so disapprove of YT traffic) and inwant to watch stuff I want to watch. Good idea for most folks, but won't work in my instance . I also wonder whether skipping adverts gives the YTer the same benefit as letting them run through. I generally let them run on YTers I support and skip them on 90% of others, on the assumption that letting the whole ad play gives them more benefit, but that's just a guess 🤷‍♂️

I believe having an adblocker does stop the channel being 'paid' for your viewing.
