The Edmonton Oilers had a fantastic opportunity last night to take a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference Final. Edmonton dominated the first period with goals from Zach Hyman and Connor McDavid. However, the Dallas Stars turned it up a gear in the second period while the Oilers stayed in neutral. Three quick goals gave Dallas the lead but, luckily for the Oilers, Adam Henrique tied the game with less than a minute to play in the frame. Unfortunately from an Oilers standpoint, Jason Robertson completed his hat trick giving Dallas the win and their first series lead.

For the line combinations for me the Drai line doesn't work especially as Kane and Drai are playing hurt...they need help maybe Insert Brown in that line? He is doing well the last games
If we are counting on PowerPlays to win this series we are done.
What's mind blowing is how Edmonton fans are shocked that showing out in the first period doesnt win them a whole game.
I also feel like they mailed it in after the empty netter. Like they didn't believe they could score twice in 1.5 minutes. That was the biggest indicator they aren't championship material to me.
I tuned in at the start of the second and my wife said oh they are winning, I followed it up with they will crap the bed, and i said Robertson is getting way too much space .
