I so disagree with you lovely lady because the Panthers were struggling to get through our defense. It took to 3rd Period for the Florida flakes to get the winning goal. I’m already counting the days until the 24-25 Season Opening. Now that Florida has finally won the Cup, they can join the Avalanche and Golden Knights as one hit wonders. They’re through over unlike the Oilers who will continue to be even more successful than this season.
I see the Avs as future contenders too unfortunately but not so much Vegas or Florida. If Panthers get back which will be hard given the wear & tear due to their system, it'll be because of incompetent EC teams....

All I have to say is that the oilers where in the same situation as the panthers last playoffs, oilers had key pieces injured such as Kane, McDavid, and Draisaidl, mcdavid had in internal injury, drai had a broken rib and finger, I can’t remember what Kane was dealing with but I know that it was also major.
The game was slower than waiting for season 24-25 to start. Love my Oilers and we all should be Proud 🥅🏒⛸️❤

Thank you for having the sense to NOT put a picture of the Panthers winning the cup on your videos. The other Oilers podcasts don't seem to have much sense because that's what they did. We don't want to f*cking see that crap today.

Its especially hard waking up in a non hockey city where ppl dont understand the gravity of what happened to us last night (so many ppl tried to joke about it to lighten my mood not realizing how much it hurts) Im so so proud of the the oilers and the memories created for all us fans but having to defend what theyve accomplished to trolls and uneducated casuals is worse than the loss itself...anyways THANK YOU OILERSNATION FOR EVERYTHING YOU ALL DO its been an incredible ride and truly wouldn't be the same without yall and nation citizens 💙🧡💙🧡
There were some questionable coaching decisions in the last 10 minutes. Loading up McDavid and Drai and then not pulling Skinner when the Oilers had the Panthers hemmed in their own zone with 2:40 left. Don't get me wrong, Knobby is a GREAT coach, but I felt like the pressure got to him in the dying minutes of the game. Either way, I am SO PROUD of this team. This might be the end of something awesome, but I truly believe it's also the beginning of something special. GO OILERS! Have a great summer boys! I'm also proud of you!!!

Thanks for all the passionate coverage this year Oilers Nation. Was one hell of a ride. Much to be proud of but also very hard to swallow not finishing the job. On a positive, they will grow from this and we will be back. Lets enjoy a little beach time and then go back to Edmonton with our heads held high brother.
2006 hurts last night hurt more .The decade of darkness, the mcdavid era had some painfull lost and last night .
The unfortunate truth.. The Oilers no showed last night... they played the exact same way that lost them the first 3 games.. and not the team that won games 4,5 & 6. They gave Florida the win.
Been saying this since the vancouver series, but they gotta work on checking or covering the opposing team coming into our zone in the corner of the blue line. Second goal Florida got it lead to that goal when Kulak could've pressured. Possibly different outcome. No better line up check or hit than someone coming exactly through the corner of the zone like that. Still proud Edmontonian overall. Next year ladies and gents. Go OILERS!
Obviously absolutely gutted about this loss but hopefully having this exciting of a series will grow the game for the future because if not idk what could.

It hurts like no other pain this morning. But anything worth having that is meaningful never comes easy! We will be back this team learned how to play winning hockey and grew so much over this playoff run. Next season they will be back and better than ever

In 06 it took a couple days after the loss then shit the fan unfortunately... and what was it 13 or 16 players didn't come back for the next season
Flames fans cheering for Tkachuk is like oiler fans cheering for Pronger. No self-respecting oiler fan would ever cheer for Pronger.

Yes, it sucks and there's a lot to unpack. But I am truly happy for Paul Maurice, Sasha Barkov, Sam Reinhart (whom I've always liked), and yes, even Matt Tkachuk, who has finally got a very storied hockey family (grandpa Walt, who was a Canadian, papa Keith, and brother Brady) the family name on the Stanley Cup.
82 gd games. a looong year before another shot at these 25 games. 😢😢😢 they’ll do it tho! amazing job, oilers!
My only complaint with Oilers fans is that I cannot hate them like I can Boston, Tampa Bay or New York fans. Everyone is so classy.
It hurts and I’ll get over it but every Oilers fan should be proud. Next season Broberg and Holloway will be on the team full time. This experience will help Skinner be better possibly Brown , Henrique and Janmark come back. A full season of Knobs and possibly Coffee. If the Oilers can bag the division and get home ice that’ll help them in the later rounds. Lots to be positive about I know it sucks because they fought so hard had to dig themselves out of a hole then battle in the final to tie the series and it’s like they did all this work and came up short again. I literally waited 18 years to see the exact same result and it hurts but I’m confident like the panthers the oilers will be back again and win it this time. Let’s go Oilers.

There were a bunch of Canuck and Flames fans cheering on Tkchuck after the win. It was mostly people that hate the Oilers.

We lost by one goal to the very best team in the NHL, not counting the Oilers. Sad we didn't get the ultimate goal, but not sad for what this team accomplished this year. Looking forward to the future!
