I see comparisons to what we saw with Stuart Skinner. Skinner wasn't bad in games 1 - 3. He just didn't make that extra save. In games 4 & 5, Bob wasn't bad. The goals he gave up weren't soft, but he just wasn't able to take one of them off the board like we saw in games 1 - 3. . In a one goal game where Bob makes that one extra save... that is scary.
To Liam's point, our mistakes have been the catastrophic kind that directly lead to a high danger scoring chance. Florida not only wasn't giving up those kind, they weren't making nearly any mistakes! To me, that is one of the biggest differences between the first 3 games and the last 2. In the last 2, they started to make major mistakes.
You cannot just get better when your weak spot is above the pad blocker side. You Cannot just get better over night on something so specific. POUND that area, we will win. Best part, if he tries to compensate for this, he leaves Leons office open and boom, you will get him from that side.
