If Edmonton had won , they did actually win it, No way that would be considered sharing if Edmonton won. The Edmonton fans will be laughing 😝 all year long that McDavid won the Conn Smythe Trophy and not Ironman Bobrovsky.

@@NicEeEe843 Babe Ruth is not even in the top 100. In this era of record setting strikeouts, it's likely that there will be quite a few players going past Reggie Jackson in the upcoming 10 - 20 years. Many current players have a much higher strikeout per at bat ratio than did Jackson.

Cy Young has the most losses as a pitcher. Paul Mo has been coaching for like 30 years. Can't think of a better and more deserving guy to win the cup, especially after how close he's gotten over the years.

Oilers fan here, Paul is a great coach. Him winning is a great thing and well deserved. I hope the Oil can learn from the panthers last year, and this year and we can be successful learn from our experience and theirs. What a battle and Congrats panthers

Yeah, I agree. Amazing team and amazing effort from a deep coach. I wanted McDavid and the Oilers to take it home, but I thought as a team, the Panthers were probably more deserving. Just outstanding for two years now. An amazing effort from both sides.

Because he complains about refs so much even though they gave him gifts in game 7 and he attacked knoblauchs correct decision to go for a challenge in game 6. He’s a tool.

I don't care what Paul Maurice's record is. This guy is an absolute legend behind the bench and behind a microphone. LEGEND. IN COACH MAURICE WE TRUST.

Paul has never coached my team but I love this guy! Such a great coach, super happy for him!

Carolina fan here, glad he finally won the Cup. We had a heck of a run back in 2002 with coach.

I never get tired of listening to Maurice and Deboer talk about their players and hockey. Hilarious that Pete sent him tips.

I'm a Jets fan, but since round 2, I was mainly cheering for the Oilers, especially after that exciting comeback in the Finals series. But during the celebration, when Maurice said on live TV that if he had one more wish, he wished that Winnipeg would win the next Stanley Cup, any resentment I had for him leaving the team went away and I am so happy for him. What a class act!

Congrats from an Avs fan. Inspiring that you came together to play your after stumbling hard and reaching deep. When all the doubts could have flooded through to cripple you, you got it done in front of your fans when it was ALL on the line. I really like your team. And the Oilers were warriors too. I do truly believe McDavid was the rightful Con Smythe winner. Draisaitl is going to be sick for his teammates because he just couldn't find success this series, but those two gave it all and simply ran out of gas. When you're top-heavy and counted on forever, you're eventually going to be spent and seeking contribution from other lines, but they fought honorably against a more complete team with a monster defense and goalie. I love Paul Marice! Both teams should be proud but the heartbreak will be immense, because sadly there's a probable chance in my mind that the world's best forward won't see the finals again. It's just that difficult to get there.

Congrats to Florida Panthers. From Canada 🇨🇦& Edmonton that’s unfortunate but always “Next Year”!

Pleased for the growth of hockey in non-traditional markets. The last five Cups were won in Florida, Vegas, and Colorado. This grows the game bringing new fans to hockey.

How is Colorado a non-traditional hockey market? The Avalanche already won two times before their recent one 21-22. 95-96, after they came from Quebec, and then 00-01, with a F super team including Sakic, Forsberg, Roy, Bourque and Blake. The team had also the longest consecutive attendance sellout streak in the League 95-06...

Actually if you Google the history of Colorado they had an nhl team long before the Avalanche - I think they were the Rockies - They are not new to hockey at all there..Florida yes

As a flyers fan the panthers are my team come playoffs the last 2 years- solely based on Bob and PM. Paul is a class act. Met him years ago at a junior evaluation in Canada. Treated everyone like they were important regardless of their background or talent. Amazing guy. He’d sit with you in the video room and was generally interested in everyone and their families and such.
