Syu and Hizaki are both extreme guitarists, and can really put emotion in the tone of the guitar.

Galneryus is such an amazing band, amazing band in both compositions and performances ranging from neoclassical to progressive metal You should've watched the live version, this is a cut down modifed short version of the song, the studio and live version are the full version, the actual song is 16 minutes long.

galneryus in live performances are something else, I recommend the song Destiny live 🤯

his name is Syu, he is number one or number two the best guitaris in japan right now (magazine version).,u will be suprised how much talented band in japan. if im not mistaken he is from some musical school university in japan. he had so much colaboration, and really respected guitarist in japan, well known bcz his high speed playing style with crazyy precision and with such clean melodic. he is the leader of the band, oh yeah almost forgot, he always use 27 GUITAR FRETS, not 24, endorse by esp to create his own costum guitar

Syu is an amazing guitarplayer! I think Syu was playing classical violin before guitar if I remember right. There are more experts on this band than me out there! The keyboard player often duels with the guitar in this band. This is a short version of the live version. Also Galneryus are one of those bands that are generally better live, so if you can try and find the live versions (it also ensures you hear the full songs, since Angel of Salvation is normally twice as long but yk they cut the songs down for the music videos)

Bro this is Syu, the best guitarist in the world. The first time I saw Galneryus I had the same thoughts..."Who the heck is this guy!" I was blown away after researching him. Galneryus' live stuff is even better. Welcome to the Galneryus the greatest power metal band ever. Yes, Syu is the band leader its his band.

I recommend (BLAST OF HELL) with The older singer to see What different things the band can do. Galneryus is probably my Favorite band. They have 14 albums with a lot of great songs. Syu (The guitarist) is The main composer of the band

Now there's a coincidence, I had just rediscovered this Galneryus song tonight, while researching other bands that have used the Casa D'Angelo church in Yokohama as a set for their music video, including Unlucky Morpheus and Lovebites. Which led me to your reaction, although I understand it was filmed last year and only just released on YT. That guitar player is simply amazing, the musicianship from Japan is on another level. Speaking of classically trained pianists who have taken up guitar, you've already seen Miyako from Lovebites performing Chopin. She recently released a CD of piano covers of metal classics, including Battery by Metallica ,Far Beyond The Sun by Yngwie Malmsteen & Burn by Deep Purple. Finally, someone who noticed the intro, and parts of the guitar solo was Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto!! The guitarist Syu used to play the violin in his youth and if my memory serves me correctly, his father also played violin professionally in an orchestra. He knew exactly what he was doing.

In the future you should check an album called "vorvados" released by SYU. Many Japanese singers collaborated in the album, in some of them he also sings. :P

Galneryus has done heaps of amazing songs also for the first half of the band they had a different vocalist YAMA-B and their style evolves and changes throughout the years. So some good songs I would recommend are the force of courage, raise my sword, angel of salvation, brutal spiral of emotions, whatever it takes (raise our hands), T.F.F.B, destiny, hunting for your dream, ultimate sacrifice, everlasting, whisper in the red sky, struggle for the freedom flag, united flag, the flag of reincarnation, and chasing the wind.

Galneryus are an amazing band. Please react to Lovebites again also. A Frozen Serenade, Liar or Dystopia Symphony would be great songs to check out.

The original version of the disc lasts 15 minutes and is much more worth it. Listen to it and you won't regret it. It is the best advice I can give you.

Syu plays an ESP Crying Star if you ever want to look that up. It's his signature guitar and each new model is named in reference to a Galneryus album title.

@@JWSoundworks2 Ahh, that's a shame. Annoying that videos get blocked when the band members themself collaborate with reaction channels. The vocalist has been on the KZread channel "The Charismatic Voice" where they do reactions together, discuss harsh vocal technique, etc. There's even a video where they visit a research centre and put a camera down his throat to see what physically happens when he does the various sounds.

Their biggest influence when they were starting out was Stratovarius, and they named themselves after the Guarneri luthier family, similar to Strato.
