Syu is basically a better yngie malmsteen in every aspect...
I think the craziest part about this song is it's usually played 2nd to last in a 2 hour setlist. And both Syu and Ono, the singer, are pushing 50 years old.
I respect every guitarist who attempts to play this song 🫡
Probably my favorite power/speed metal band. Syu-sama is such a amazing shredder!

Two things, this song is based on Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major(the string section and guitar melodies and licks are borrowed from that concerto) and 1:52 Yeah just because it is Japanese doesn't mean that it is anime but both the opening and ending from Hunter x Hunter anime are Galneryus songs (Departure! and Hunting for your Dream.)

They also did alsatia and cause disarray which was used for Mnemosyne, and also a far off distance and another one of there slower songs was used for two different anime

Departure for Hunter x Hunter was just a solo song by the current lead vocalist but they did do a full band full english cover of the song as Galneryus
Finally he’s played this. been waiting for him to play this.
That made for quite the epic viewing. It looked like an absolute nightmare to play but you did great!
Impressive. When You blend the guitarmonster Syu and the classical master Tchaikovsky You have to fight for it!
More people need to know about this song
