Best tutorial i could find about this phone. My screen died yesterday and thanks to your video i ordered the glass/lcd unit. I already removed the old screen/lcd and i didn't even needed to heat it up. I just used a strong piece of metal and sliced it of from the bottom and removed it from the connector without braking it, so i only need to place the new glass/lcd unit. Do you know if the microphone also sits in the lcd unit or is that in the main part of the phone.

What to do if copper strips under screen is removed?

I have this phone. It has a green line across the right of the screen, from top to bottom. It only shows up when the display is active. Is there any way I can fix this myself? Is it a problem on the screen itself or the connector? Help would be much appreciated!

One thing I'm struggling with - getting the full part replacement as most places dont sell the conector in the pack. ANy suggestions? Great video btw.

I noticed that nobody replied to your question. I think you just have to google it. I did the same and most countries have online stores that sell phone parts. And price for me was about 103 euro for silver version and gold was a few euro's more. But all stores that you can visit ask about 185 euro to repair it so that saves me 82 euro

I have a question I think that my phone turns on but the screen does not turn it stays black. From what I can see and feel I think that it is that copper thing (don't know what it is called) because is ee crack in the screen but I can't feel does it work when i try to use the method you are using. pls help me

As I understand it. You need S5 neo version.

please when you don t know what you do stop ... or make a good video , if someone fallow this he could only broke more stuff... And if the digitizer was good you broke it for nothing because it is possible to do a glass repair only on this model.

Depends on who you get it from. Ive seen as low as 29 and close to 80. Just look around
