Switched to an S21 after being an iPhone user since 2018, I've realised how much better anroid is and what I was missing out on, most people who bully android are clearly people who have never tried android and see it as inferior as they think of android as cheap so they buy an iPhone. The amount of features you get over IOS is amazing!

I went, some years ago, to Android. Still found it super weird Android stutters sometimes. The iPhone never did almost for years. I also didn't think Android was anything special, other than me being able to change the launcher, I wasn't missing anything. However, this year I might give it another go with an S21, we'll see.

Phone is $200 cheaper than last year, but most people outside of North America won't notice...

It's pretty simple IMHO. Small limbo with some props, slider movement + adjustable lighting + masking + animation effects.. not that hard to make if you're familiar with video production/ editing

I’m an iPad and Mac user but for me phones that matters are only with android. iOS has to much limitation like no conversation recording, no real 2 SIM cards, no sd slot card, no drag and drop only iTunes or cloud

I had track phones up until I got a used iphone for really cheap in highschool and have stuck with iphone since then. And when I tell you I'm over iphone, I'm OVER it, I'm so ready for the switch. I spent an hour looking at different models and specs, even spoke to a couple chat agents for some recommendations and whatnot, all without much help. Came to ole reliable youtube and just started watching reviews on certain phones and I think I found the one I'm gonna get. Shopping online is so overrated, it's easy to overlook things and get lost in the sea of listed models and specs without being able to see the actual phone and it's performance. This was super helpful!

First review of yours that I've watched...needed to replace my A50 and found this. Top-notch review! I appreciate your straight-forward delivery. Gave me the information I was seeking while maintaining interest. Initially planning on the A52 5G, but the not - stratospheric price plus features of the S21 5G including faster cpu, more ram, etc. made this an easy decision. I don't upgrade every 6 months (or year!) so long - term performance is a factor for me. Plastic back? Never saw the allure of a glass back, besides I always skin my phones anyway so back material is pretty much a non-issue to me.

Just got this phone, it replaced my S10e. I only have one complaint, the in screen sensor is not as good as the dedicated button was on the S10e and that's disappointing. However, although some people dislike the use of a plastic backing, I really like it.

I love this phone , I have the exact same one as in this video , I switched from a iPhone 11 pro max and I have zero regrets , battery life lasts all day and then some , the camera takes amazing photos, it's not laggy , I don't mind the 1080p because 1440 hurts my eyes anyway ( weird I know ) I don't mind the plastic back because I have a case on it 24/7 anyway and the size is perfect for my hands , plus I love themes and the ability to change the font style , perfect phone for me.

Expandable storage is something I miss alot

I got the S21+ through Samsung's trade in program. I have to say I miss the MST since some of the vending machines at work don't have NFC, but eh, everything else does. Everything else is good. Upgrading from the S10e the screen is massive though, took me a little to get used to.

I love the design they used this year, I personally love the return to plastic backs. Makes you feel a lot more comfortable carrying the phone without a case. Then it feels significantly lighter.

Agreed. Glass is elegant, plastic is pragmatic. An aluminum unibody is also great. Not a fan of glass backs. Already have one glass surface to worry about, I don't need a second.

My biggest issue with glass backs is the finger prints. Constantly dirty ruining the premium look they are so supposed to have.

I really appreciate this review. I was waffling between the ultra and the regular s21 and this solidified my decision to go with the regular one. I'm currently using a iphone 8 so anything will be a big jump I imagine!

I recently picked up this phone under a new plan. Just waiting on it to arrive. I initially thought about going with the s20 fe but after watching this review it puts me so much at ease that i went with the S21 instead. Thank you so much.

I upgraded recently from the s7 edge, cause it was starting to show its age l. I will say the leap in tech just in the processor and the refresh rates is noticeable. Everything loads insanely fast and os very responsive. The battery life is nuts and I would highly recommend this phone to any of my friends. Personally 128 gigs is more than enough space for me in a phone as I can't really see myself installing too many big spps aside from the occasional game

@@Pleiades60 I run mine in battery saver mode which dims the screen and limits refresh rate to 90hz which is hardly noticeable between 120hz. The screen is great and colors pop. I recommend finding a HD wallpaper as soon as you do and applying it. It really shows off its strengths

@@kaneekan if you're looking to get a flagship and you want to stick with Android you can't really go wrong with the s series ever. Speaking from my experience I had a lot more issues with ios and iphones that I have ever had with androids. Things are clean and fast. They just work how they should and when they should. Is the removal of headphone Jack's kinda lame? Sure. But it's something that you get used to really quickly especially with Bluetooth connectivity being so seamless on modern flagship and even budget tier phones. To sum it up my recommendation would be if you're looking to buy a flagship stick with the s21 series

Am I the only one who just loved everything second of the intro? so god damn smooth

I like the dual sim card. Either for a work phone or canceling your service provider for whatever reason. I also like using this as my modem for my pc. You connect it with the charging wire into your pc USB and just like plugging into a phone jack. You now have internet access. Great phone.

I'm mad they took out the S pen. I think I'll hold onto my S20 a little longer. I like having all these features to play with. I can keep it simple or do a bunch of complicated shit and all the fun stuff inbetween.

I went from S10+ to S21. Honestly, with having pretty small hands for a guy, the phone fits a lot better for me. I didn't even notice the resolution drop until the specs mentioned it. I prefer the durability of plastic back to the glass, although it does lose the more premium look and feel. All in all it feels like a sidegrade with some quality of life improvements, but it runs nice and smooth.

i broke my s7 and im changig to a s21,now the mfs at school wont laugh anymore that i got a shit phone

I had track phones up until I got a used iphone for really cheap in highschool and have stuck with iphone since then. And when I tell you I'm over iphone, I'm OVER it, I'm so ready for the switch. I spent an hour looking at different models and specs, even spoke to a couple chat agents for some recommendations and whatnot, all without much help. Came to ole reliable youtube and just started watching reviews on certain phones and I think I found the one I'm gonna get. Shopping online is so overrated, it's easy to overlook things and get lost in the sea of listed models and specs without being able to see the actual phone and it's performance. This was super helpful!

Well I always have a phone case on my phone and everyone rocks on phone case, so what's the point of spending the extra 200 dollars for glass you only feel when you first unbox it.

@@DixonDixon65 same here my friends screen was crack from a few drops it was slightly nit the worst crack but it would have lasted because I had a worse drop and it just slightly cracked my screen protecter and my phone was fine
