David Phelps, guy penrod and mark lowrys singing chemistry was just out of this world! They were so perfect for each others voices I don't think we will ever see another trio like this, I was so heartbroken when I heard they went their separate ways years ago

Me too! But so happy for the videos that we can watch! Would love for a reunion of these guys, including Russ Taff…love Russ!! And Wes Hampton!! They all sing so beautifully together…with David at the helm!!!

That last tenor note = perfection.

My all-time favorite Gaither Vocal Band of Bill Gaither, Guy Penrod, Mark Lowry and David Phelps who has the most amazing and anointed tenor voices that I've ever been blessed to hear! Praise the good Lord Jesus for such a blessing that I receive when I listen to these 4 God given talented singers.

There isn't a word to describe the performance of THIS song. It is one of my MOST favorite songs sung by David Phelps and the GVB.

Some of those chords were locked as if this were a barbershop quartet singing. Master singers at work here.

David Phelps has the greatest singing voice God ever created! the Gaither vocal band is the Best ever. I have been listening to them for decades and never get enough. I start my day with praise and worship to Jesus with David and the vocal band songs!

This version of this song always ministers to me when I am feeling discouraged, simply because of the strong anointing on the voices of these men of God!

There will never be another group of vocalists any better than these guys! They are the very best!!

I listen to Bill Gaither’s wonderful music band and others all day and have my tablet on at night. You all such a precious beautiful blessing. I just can’t find adequate words to express my gratitude. I’m 75 years old old, wheelchair bound and pretty much home bound. I even carry my tablet with me every time I wheel around my neighborhood and you guessed it--you all go with me!!! Neighbors hear your beautiful witness through your wonderful songs. GOD BLESS EVERYONE OF YOU!!! David Phelps, Mark Lowery, Guy Pernod , & Bill Gaither I pray I’ll get to hear you singing in heaven someday.

Azriel Wynge not sure about that...Michael English would have to be in a top4 line-up for me. that guy is so amazing. David Phelps and Bill Gaither irreplacable for me. I like mark lowry because he always makes me smile he always looks so joyful. Guy and wes are great singers tho too

Tbh i prefer michael english to guy penrod. WesHampton Vs Mark Lowry is a tough call tho. Wez has a better tonal quality to his voice imo but mark has more charisma. Overall I think this line up had some of my faves tho

Literally used to BALL my eyes out when i hear this version of the song! God`s spirit is truly moving in their voices!! The Beautiful last note really brought the message of that song home! GOD IS GOOD!

It's so inspiring to listen to this group ,one can then go out in to this world with out fear because one knows Jesus is right there with you.

It's so beautiful I can't say enough about what he's done for my life

The last 14 seconds...there are simply no words. Some 7 billion people in the world and only a few can do that. Phelps just makes me laugh. Thanks David!

@@fredost1504 I can guarantee you David would say otherwise. That is why it is a FOUR PART HARMONY group. Here he is not a one man Band, a Solo Artist. There is NO harmony if there is only one voice, even a magnificent voice like David. Unless you have a soloist singing Acapella , they are all dependent on their backing musicians or singers to blend and ENHANCE their voices. By the same token, the others need David's voice , his tenor, for that harmony.

when the Christ appeared to me in real no doubt about it I do not need money or popularity I just here to the share with everybody this real incident I believe it's my duty to mention it. April 2016, I got up from my sleep rare to happen for some reason the case with me saw something that no one believe and I'm being an Arab from Qatar, but I say the right word what I saw on the ceiling of my room clearly and for a period just a few seconds, but I am 100% sure an Image of Jesus Christ feature as I remember the face shape just a little long, white close to an Arab or middle east Caucasian people the eyes beautiful the face beard is light and head hair lay almost on his shoulders a bit and the Color of beard and head hair not much dark I think I hinted his hands back although the room had little lighting but the clarity of the picture dazzled me in the beginning I thought he looks to some degree to one of my friends but inspiration jump to my mind he is the Christ and what I astonished of the image it is clarity .why me have this experience I do not know but did happen and this is the ultimate truth because it got with me accurately. . ( this is not my real name due to personal reasons) Since 2001 until now I see drawings / images /writing also creatures close to human and animals running also show events some of them occurred others not I see writing Arabic and English as well as shapes , lines which is similar to old language all of these appear on the ceiling /wall . the translation from Arabic using google = كتبتها مرات كثيرة واقعة حصلت وهذه التجربة مع اني صاحب تعليم وثقافة وأفكاري اقرب الى الألحاد ولو كنت بشك. لما دونت حرف واحد نعم امر لا يمكن تصديقه لا اعرف التفسير-كنت بكامل حواسي ومستيقظ وصاحي. في النصف الثاني لشهر ابريل 2016م وانا نائم فجاءة نهضت من نومي لسبب نادر حصوله لي رأيت شيء لن تصدقوا وانا مواطن قطري لكن أقول كلمة الحق ماذا شاهدت رأيت على سقف غرفتي بصورة واضحة ولمده لا اعرف ممكن ثواني لكنها كافية من الذي شفته نعم صورة السيد المسيح الوجه واضح وكأني لمحت ان يديه الى الخلف ومظهرة طبيعي جدا بدون وجود أشياء خارجه عن المألوف . ووجهه شكله طويل قليلا وملامح جمالية وابيض الشكل وقريب شكله من العرب او شعوب الشرق الأوسط اللحية خفيفة وشعر الرأس يتدلى على كتفيه تقريبا ولونهما غامق قليلا بعض الشيء وعيون بها نظرات رائعة .وبالرغم ان الغرفة بها اضاءة خفيفة لكن دقة وضوح الصورة ابهرتني وقد اعتقدت بداية انه يشبه احد الأصدقاء بدرجة بسيطة لكن بسرعة احسست او ألهام راودني لا هذا هو المسيح . هذه شهادة واوصل كلمتي وهي امانة احس لابد من قولها لا اسعى ولا ابغي الأموال او الشهرة طمعا ادرك صعوبة تصديق هذا لكن المهم انها الحقيقة النهائية بعد هذا الذي حصل لماذا شفت ومررت بالتجربة لا اعرف لكنها حدثت هذا ليس اسمي الحقيقي لأسباب خاصة .من 2001م والى الان اشوف كتابات رسومات صور مخلوقات تشبه نوع ما الانسان تمر وحيوانات تعدو ومنها أحداث ظهرت منها حدثت وغيرها لا كلها تكون على السقف والجدران وهي تظهر قليلا بالنهار لكن اغلبها بالليل كما ان شكل الكلمات عربي انجليزي وكذلك خطوط واشكال . وكأنها لغة من الأف السنين
