When I was a new Christian, the pianist was asked to sing a song. She said all she could see was my face. The song she sang was...He looked for me... After 25+ years, I still cry to know that the Lord and Savior of the universe...looked for me. I'm so thankful He did!

I'd study for college in my room and my parents would watch Mark Lowry in the living room, laughing up a storm. I had a preconceived idea Mark was for old people and shut the door. Eventually I left the door open and began to listen and hear. I humbled myself. Thank you Lord for opening my door!!

The gospel shines thru gentle humor. Praise God for calling Mark to share in such a way.

i’ve seen a lot of lukewarm christian comedians maki worldly jokes and hanging out with worldly musicians in worldly mega churches that appeal to the world more than the word. This was a nice change of pace. preaching Christ crucified to the lost and while making them laugh and possibly convicting them to the heart; that’s what i like to see.

I don’t know if it gets any more lukewarm than saying that following Christ doesn’t cost a thing. That’s tepid at best. Jesus said it would cost us everything but that often gets left out of western versions of the Gospel because it is offensive.

I love Mark. He's so funny and has a heart of gold. He is so talented. I loved this skit with him to the audience. He's from Tx. My hubbys home State. He has a wonderful singing voice too.

I keep coming back to watch this video over and over . The Way Mark makes so much Joy and happiness in the hearts of all of us. He loves to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus in a very special and Blessed way. Atheist here- grew up on these Gaither videos and came back to watch for nostalgia. I wasnt sure, but gotta say- Mark is still funny as hell. No denying it. That 6 billion years in a bag joke was the only one that fell flat after all these years- Mark really thought he did something with that lmao. Foreal though, all the props. Didn't expect to still have a genuine laugh all these years later, and this just made me super happy.

My 20 year old daughter mentioned watching this when she was young so I had to go back and watch it again. What a powerful message.

I’ve seen Mark in concert 3 times, I’ve watched many of his videos, but somehow missed this sketch!! So hilarious, while delivering the truth of God’s Word, and who He is!! Amen!!

love it. grew up watching this guy. And was immersed in that type of southern gospel music because my mom came from a singing group family that travelled around the nation for a really long time.

Mark teaches theology in a simple way but with deep truth❤

it is absolutely a great line. But alas! History lesson story time…😅 this clip is actually a “classic” from the 1990’s. He did a couple or a few formal comedy specials amongst his tourings as a musician and vocalist for the Gaither band. He released those on VHS tape in the 1990’s and I grew up watching them. I do not even know if he ever re-released them on DVDs. Yes that is how old they are. And possibly somewhat sadly, he did not do any more new comedy specials after the 1990’s. But! He is still alive and kickin! He is probably in his seventies now, in 2022. Yes his comedy specials are certainly considered classics amongst a certain swathe of many Christians who followed all the Gaither music and knew who Mark Lowry was. Very cool! Great memories!

I love Mark Lowry it's great to find wonderful Christian comedian that’s not stuffy but really does also share the gospel but letting older Christians as well as new Christians know that God has a sense of humor and it's OK for us to laugh too. ❤ Love you Mark God Bless you Mr. Funny Godly Man! ✝️

I love Mark! His humor is so honest hilarious! There's always a good message. I had the privilege of meeting Mark's mother at a ladies retreat. She was a wonderful speaker, & was very honest & open about her family. I identified to what she spoke about, so I introduced myself to her during a break. She was lovely, gracious, & a beautiful person! She had a great sense of humor!

I think Christians with a continual smile on their face talking about the Lord Jesus Christ laughing and having a good time something that people can see as authentic is the best testimony that there is for being a child of God trul y the joy of the Lord is our strength

I have always been a fan of Mark. He is the first comedian and Christian I have ever listened to.

I watched this again for the Nth time and still laughed and enjoyed every bit of it. My wife told me that our two-year old grand kid Sarah peeked into our bed room several times to see if Granpa was ok. This piece of ‘comedy’ is gospel in ‘joking clothes’

Listened again! There was a time that many of the things Mark says in this video would be considered blasphemous. But, Mark received his comedic talent from The Lord. To me this means: God has a great sence of humor and gave it to Mark!

I actually met him, and got to talk to him in person. I will never forget it. There was a storm and we all was to run for cover.

This was filmed TWO MONTHS before 9/11, if not sooner than that. I looked it up. All of these people were extremely fortunate. Good Lord.

It was recorded sometime prior to June 2001 because Mark left the Gaither Vocal Band in June.

I knew this guy was special even when people doubted him. Love u brother ..I believe in you
