Gabby Thomas Has Bigger Goals Beyond Olympic medals

Спорт

Gabby Thomas Has Bigger Goal Beyond Olympic medals. She is trying to save the world and win a gold medal at the same time. She has an undergraduate degree in neurobiology from Harvard, where she also studied global health and policy, plus a master’s degree in public health and epidemiology from the University of Texas. The running stuff was supposed to be long over by now. Halfway through college, she didn’t even know professional running was a thing.

I used to be leery of Gabby Thomas because of her family ties to Jamaica, but after I saw how hard she runs against Jamaica to win for the USA, I’m not concerned about her loyalty anymore. 🇺🇸

Is this an AI voiceover or a socially awkward human being who never heard the name Gabrielle which is how come he mis-pronounces it as Gabriel?

Not now. She’s become one of the fastest women sprinters. The U.S. needs her. She’ll have time for a PhD, if she wants it.

Gabby has a life purpose that's greater than track accolades it's the traning she continues to use to fuel her next chapter after track

This is more of American chest pounding. Gabby Thomas no where near beating Sherika Jackson in 200m.In fact her best time is over 2 tenths of a second slower than Jackson. Who has beaten Gabby Thomas in 2 consecutive world championships.

At this level, performances fluctuate greatly from one year to the next, just look at Elaine Thompson Herah. I give Gabby about a 30% chance of beating Shericka at the Olympics.

Most in the track world knows her odds. We happen to be proud that she is so well rounded. The question is if track was taken away from Shericka what would she do?

@@distanceman8147why does sherika need to compare other things against her, to make you Americans feel better that she’s way better than gabby in track?😂😂😂

@@mayl4152 Re read the post. I'm not comparing Shericka to anything. The question was if track was taken away then what would she do? This is the same thing I ask my kids. I would agree with Shericka being ranked higher than Gabby. I will say that you still have to show up and handle business on the track. She has options off the track. Not many can say that. So, this wasnt a diss on Shericka, she is what she is a phenomenal and talented runner. Why do y'all take track so personal? It is a world wide sport. Believe it or not Others including Americans love and respect and cheer for Jamaican runners too. Regards

@@distanceman8147 the point is why does anything else she do is relevant to the fact that she’s leagues above Gabby in track? Which is her main career. Perfecting one thing is better than being “well-rounded” aka you are good at nothing specifically so have to pretend you have other abilities to save face
