(28 Feb 1984) GS CAS JORDAN: PLO Ldr Yasser Arafat addresses a group of 1000 PLO
07038404 fighters at a celebration marking the PLO's 19th anniv. The
1"VT+BVU following day he joins King Hussein of Jordan to observe
manoeuvres by the Jordanian Army. An agreement on the West
Bank issue is unlikely to emerge from current talks, but
Arafat's visit is said to be valuable for both leaders.
