    Well to me its simple. He has massive respect for Frank, and none for Eddie. He repects Frank because Frank came from nothing and is completely self made. Eddie was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and didnt have to graft for what he has now. Not his fault, but Simon has little respect for someone who was given everything, even though he did good on what he was given, but still he was given a massive leg up. So yes, Eddie does rub Simon up the wrong way with Simon thinking, who the hell does this blue eyed idiot who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth think he is?

    @CaptainCroak, Well it's not just two opponents... it's two of the longest reigning world champions of this era and the last, both fights that you all picked Fury to lose in. Has Joshua beaten a long reigning champion who reigned for 11 years? Nope, or beat someone like Wilder who defended his title 10 times? Nope, All Joshua had done is beat an old Klitschko coming off a loss and beat 5 minute champions like martin, Ruiz and Parker pmsl, if it weren't for Fury vacating the titles then Joshua Ruiz Martin Parker and Usyk would never have become Heavyweight champions, Fury gave them all an opportunity to fight for his belts when he vacated them, let that sink in for a minute.

    This is a good example of why interviewing someone is very very difficult. No matter how clever you think you are, how much of a smartarse you think you are, if you don't listen to the answers then the interview is going to meander. I'm not going to go into the machinations and minutiae of trying to make fights - nobody commenting here has a clue about what goes on in negotations. However, there were so many things here which were not picked up on: How was Frank, at a very young age, running clubs and pubs? Where does the confidence come from to do that? Who gave him money to do that? What was the relationship like with breweries etc? Tell us more about Lenny McLean being a bully? But the worst bit was the piece at the end. Frank gets to meet Nelson Mandela and talk about boxing...we get 20 seconds on that. Instead the interview, like so many of the boxing KZread outlets, are obsessed with tittle-tattle and gossip. We all know what I'm talking about. It seems virtually every boxing channel asks exactly the same questions: Dom/Eddie/Shane/Joe/Dave - you'll have seen Anthony Joshua's comments about former coach Robert McCracken, what do you think about that? Frank, Eddie Hearn has said... Eddie, did you see Frank Warren's interview on IFL last night? Ben, Eddie has said that you're not letting your fighters fight on other platforms, what do you say to that? It's awful.

If it’s so easy to work with him how come he has fought once a year for 6 yrs runnin. Ppl gotta use their heads when fury fkd up and made the video 70/30 usyk and his team knew all they had to do was say they accept and everyone was goin to be on his side. He’s a warrior for accepting 70/30 then fury said no rematch then usyk team said they were pulling out because of the rematch while at the same time saying fury was the one who wanted the rematch to begin with well if he was the one who wanted the rematch why are u pulling out over it. Then it just magically happens he signs with Saudi less than 2 months later. It was about the money on both sides usyk was never goin to fight fury for 70/30 in uk when he could get way more in Saudi period. Usyk even said he can destroy fury rep that’s what that was all about.

    Agree with you. I believe that Fury was damaged against Wilder in that third fight and he is reluctant to go through that punishment again. Plus he wants to finish his career unbeaten. Usyk brings considerable jeopardy to the ring as do fighters like Zhang, Hrgovic, Joyce and even Joshua. Fury simply does not fancy getting hurt anymore. We have no idea what lasting damage those Wilder punches had on Fury. We do know however, that Fury was considerably hurt in that fourth round of their third fight.

  • @Proxima2

    @Proxima2

    9 ай бұрын

    @@adgepeterb what I mean by conflicted is Fury on one hand doesn’t want to risk his health anymore fighting competitively. He’s well aware of the risks of repetitive brain injury and these heavyweights don’t mess around trying to knock each other’s head off. He’s won all the belts in the heavyweight division and I think he’s satisfied with that. Boxing for all the belts at the same time to be a four-belt undisputed champion isn’t a goal of his. However, on the other hand, he doesn’t have anything else in his professional life other than boxing which gives him the same satisfaction. Boxing is all he knows, all he’s bred to do, and without it there’d be a huge hole in his life. All this is public knowledge as Fury has given many interviews about it. His wife and father have talked about it too. No doubt he’s searching for a solution to his dilemma but I don’t think he’s found it yet.

    @@liamreilly3873 sugat hill was asked in several interviews on Match 2023 about the potential fury usyk fight. Sugar Hill exposed fury and said that he never trained fury. He hasnt started camp yet and so on whilst fury was claiming to be in camp with sugar hill. But sugar was only there to prepeare and train okolie and had his Return flight booked for march 28th. So sugar indirectly confirmes that fury never intensded ro fight usyk.

    The Eddie Hearn lovers are just too much. Frank Warren says many times "let me finish", same as Eddie does. The difference here is...Eddie and Frank Smith slag Jordan off all of the time, Frank Warren doesn't, he's happy to debate. Eddie Hearn refused to go on TalkSport for ages after the correct criticism of him following the Benn scenario. It's also to do with human nature, you can tell Frank Warren is deeply passionate and not lying, with Eddie Hearn I think he comes across a lot differently ego wise.
