Furniture Fixing | A VINTAGE VLOGMAS '21 Day 22
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
It was a real estate heavy day for me but tried my best to fit in some vintage & antiques. I was able to accomplish getting the 12 drawer piece put back together and furniture fixing the top crown piece to the big cabinet we just picked up from auction. Vintage Vlogmas '21 Day 22 is done.

Excellent call changing out the skirt on that cabinet for casters! They're good-looking and functional. The whole piece looks great!
AMANDA don’t compare yourself to other channels. Your content is unique and so necessary to the community of resellers and/or interior decorators. XoMacenna is also a favorite of mine, but her content is very different from yours, and that’s great. I think you haven’t realized how powerful and influential your videos are. Even if it’s a quick reel or a 5 minute chat, you are so inspirational. Glad you are taking some time for self care. You share videos at your own pace, whatever day you want to, I will watch it.
You are super fun to watch, like you’re a girlfriend to shop with! Thanks for being real and taking us along!
You are juggling a lot Amanda! That piece with the casters WOW I'd love to have that it's LOVELY!
I am very happy that I found your channel. Please don’t stop your KZread channel & your Booth!!! I have learned soo much from you. “Thank You” There are other people who have a Booth & KZread, but they just take us along shopping 🛍 and every video is “ all the same content over & over again “. Basically not teaching anything real. You are showing me, exactly what I want to know about running a booth. How much hard work & dedication it takes & most of all a true Love for All things Vintage & Antique!! You have a Beautiful esthetic. I love your style!! Love how you stage your booth!! And Your shop along videos Bring Something Brilliant Every time!! It’s not going out to antique malls or thrift stores & buying the same type of inventory. You don’t stop when it’s halfway done. You are always determined to redo that booth space until you feel good about it. I Love that :). You have a Great Work Ethic. 😁 👍 👍 👍
Please don't compare yourself to that other channel you mentioned, you are so much better to watch. Don't change your style, you are doing a fantastic job. Hopefully eventually you can just do the vintage and the booth, so we can have more Amanda's Mercantile content!

Agreed! I really can't stand that other channel anymore.
You are doing so well with this vlog.I have to take my hat off to you, you are very busy with everything you get done in a 24 hour period. 🌟🌟👏👏
Discovered your channel about halfway through Vlogmas and I love it! I have now gone back and watched your entire back catalog. So much fun to watch your struggles (sorry) and to see your victories. Love your style.
Oh my goodness….I HOPE you do vlogmas again! I get on every day to watch ya! Your real. I love watching you style your booth! My absolute favorite!😍
We're rooting for you!!!
You just glow with energy - just b you and what others portray shouldn’t compare. Everyone’s different and who knows what their real struggles are behind the lens - for me giddy teen energy is not for me. I’m in my 40s and can see thru the silliness - I want something real to motivate me and you’re real. 🙏🙏 thank u
You seemed so much happier with Mike... And that helps a lot! I think you're a doll and I've become obsessed watching your videos and learning
LOOOOOVE THE CABINET😍😍😍😍😍
The 12-drawer piece looks so very nice.
You're doing a magnificent job. Give yourself a break. You're right, XO Macenna is doing her thing full-time.
I love the piece that you completed. So pretty. I have an old chest of my parents and I am going to get some wheels like you did to put o it. It will be perfect. You are so inspiring.
Ohhhh the wheels are PERFECT ☺️☺️

Totally relate to having too much on my plate as well but you gotta make those dreams happen! You are doing great! That dresser!!?!- you have some serious magic up your sleeves! 😍😍😍
That piece is beautiful! What a difference from when you picked it up to now! I look forward to your Vlogmas videos - you're a natural, whether you're discussing real estate, vintage or antique booths! So glad I came across your channel!
👏👏👏👏Yeahhhhh, you are slaying Vlogmass. Love the 12 drawer chest. Great job.
I really love your page as a vintage collector and seller who stopped completely selling durring the Pandemic want to get back into it with a new drive for it !
I love your videos, your doing great with so much on your plate. I agree with others, it's impressive the amount of work you do in a day...very inspiring. The cabinet turned out great! I'm going to miss every day vlogs with you! You're the best!

Fantastic idea on the casters! Looks amazing! Your crushing it! Great job!!
Great tip using wax for the drawers. I never thought about that thanks.
As a real estate agent myself, I understand how a showing heavy day plus offer writing can add stress to you.. What a crazy market it is right now. How you do both, I don’t know. But you DO it!
Absolutely love all your videos and cannot wait each day or so when they come out out you are so creative
Wow 😍 from Sweden!!! I just love your channel. You are doing a great job with your booth and it’s an inspiration to watch.

I love how the 12 drawer piece turned out. It's great!! I have enjoyed having a video from you every day but I know how busy you've been. Merry Christmas from Colorado!
Iv watched mccenna for a long time nd she's great but I think your doing amazingly I'm sure it's alot of hard work but give yourself a pat on the back your doing great, 💕
Keep doin you thing so happy I found your channel! I follow so McKenna too she is great but sometimes life is hard and you need to show it. Thanks for sharing the real you.
👍👍
I have to get a massage on my shoulders as well and it is called a therapy massage. It can be very uncomfortable. If I don't my neck will draw up and I cannnot turn my head. I go every two weeks. Sometimes I can wait a month but it is stretching it!!
Hey Amanda, I’m new to your channel.. been a subscriber for a month now and I can say you inspired me A LOT. Now I want to go out and shop and get a booth for myself. Thank you for making me think it’s possible 🥰
you are doing great thank you
Wow I think you have done amazing, I watch you from the South of the UK 🇬🇧 and I love what you do, you keep it real and enjoyable 😉
I love the cabinet! It is industrial/functional/beautiful. I think I could’ve pass that by in its original condition, but you could see the potential. Can you show us a before and after shot?
Love your videos..the other channel you mentioned is wayyy too hyper for me! LOL

@@kats3969 I watch 2 minutes and that is it!! lol
Love your content Amanda! What products do you prefer to use for projects like this? I’m wondering what a good sealant is and a good wax to restore vintage furniture. Thanks!
Amanda get a space heater in the summer time they are cheaper. But it saved my life from having a cold constantly in Colorado. Now I'm in Texas so I got a AC plug in thing LOL. Xo
You are very talented and are doing an incredible job helping so many people . Don’t doubt your self . Maybe set aside some time for yourself , even if it’s just dinner out with Mike or your sister . Just a break from everything for an hour or two , will make a big difference . It will be something to look forward to and give your mind a break . Good Luck your doing a great job. Thank You for sharing your wonderful lifestyle with all of us .
Hey Amanda! I have some drawers that need waxing, what kind do u use?
You did great and impressed by your stamina. Been meaning to comment, do you wear one of those wide belts to protect your back wheb youre lifting/moving heavy furniture? It might help your uppper back?
You are juggling a lot. Thanks for sharing. L❤️VE your videos.
The armoire or tv cabinet are not popular in my area and can be purchased so cheap, but how do you up cycle it to make it on trend? Any ideas? The black cabinets that have full glass doors on trend but not sure these can be converted bc they’re to deep ugh
What kind of wax do you use?
Hi Amanda! I have a question about the clothes you put in your booth. It seems you base your criteria for choosing pieces by a cold climate. I live in a warm climate and wondered what you choose in warmer weather to put in your booth. LOVE that cabinet, by the way!
I hate editing. That's why there's hardly any videos on my channel 🤣
Hello from a fellow Virginian! What did you put on the drawers to help them slide better? Thanks!
You are doing an amazing job. Love you style. How far you from Dale City.
I have a friend that blogs that does a blogmas with short videos and she always works a week in advance and uses her Thanksgiving time off to edit as much as she can to get a head start so if there is a day she cant get editing all done she dosnt have to stay up all nigh. Just an idea
You know what the answer is? You need elves. But seriously, I once had a boss that said, "You make the most of something by making the least of it." If my attention wasn't called to what you are concerned about us being happy with, I'd wouldn't wonder. You are doing a great job and I think you seem to be an amazing woman of the planet with great taste, excellent skills, and I look forward to checking in with you!
Very nice piece! Sooo glad you did not paint it!
oh girl.. I had to stop the video to see you struggle to get the skirt off. A sawzall or oscillating saw would have gotten it off in about 3-4 minutes. Check into that! :) Love your ideas. I would love to buy that piece! What will be the price of it?
Have you considered starting a Patreon? I would definitely pay a monthly subscription for some extra content, a monthy Q&A discord, etc. That might provide a regular income that allows you to cut back on real estate. That's assuming you'd rather work more on the antiques than the real estate. Anyway...loved how the 12-drawer turned out!
❤️👍🔔📸📸
That's not peppy, that's manic. Look with fresh eyes.
Hey so instead of massage you may want to look into a full spine chiropractor to help your shoulders. Best thing I did for myself. Just my two cents. ❤️

I follow XO McKenna also, and yes, she's always peppy, but I think once the camera is down she's not like that. That's just my opinion
Take care of those shoulders I have a friend whose husband had to have both of his shoulders replaced! Not fun for sure!!!
