Super cool man. I ordered the frame kit with the motor then got the same esc and transmitter. I'm making mine 4ws and that transmitter is ideal for it. I'm $400 deep so far lol...

I ended up keeping the stock servo. Works pretty well.

hot tip, 20 screws is a whole lot less than 60. If you at all change tires, just put 5 of the beadlock screws in, its plenty saves time on your life yanno lol

What wheels did you use ? Did you use hex extensions or anything ?

I just bought the kit that comes with the micro Komodo and im basically doing the same build wit that body. any tips on paintig? never done one before

Yeah, do several very light coats. I think I did 7 or 8 super light coats. Let it dry completely before applying the next. I used a hair dryer to quicken the drying process. You can also search 'painting an rc body' here in youtube to get some very good tips.

@@jamiealan thanks, your truck looks awesome! Any complaints about it yet? I was stuck on the Minnie or micro Komodo but just went with the micro since it came with it. Il probably extend the links at some point and I bout a gt5 like you, I’ve never even driven a brushless rig so I’m pretty pumped to try it out

@@jayf2487 No complaints. Love the brushless. One tip... be careful glueing the magnets to the inside of the body, I glued mine, let it sit overnight and when I went to open it they ripped right off. Paint and all. So I had to repaint that section. I now use two small magnets which I simply stick on the outside of the body and it works fine. Even looks kind of cool. When I take the body off they slide off with it but I'm fine with that.

His you strap all your electronics in the cab? Just finished my build and I’ve been putting the battery in the back which I don’t like. Looks like you put your battery on the bottom then set everything on top?

These Credit Card Crawlers are all the rave. A sub $50 made in China plastic truck people dump $800+ into. I know I spent $500 on a old Losi Mini Rock Crawler during covid cuz I was bored. But at what point is it not a Traxxas/SCX24? They should just sell a box with pictures and a list of all the addon/ mod companies maybe with % discounts. Why ship with anything when good or bad its going in the trash haha..
