Congrats on having made this difficult decision and my deepest respect for pulling through with it.. or as my granddad said it: "You're never too old to do what makes you happy and change what doesn't; but how can something that makes so many people happy, be a bad thing." I'm not trying to overact, but when he said that to me, my jaw dropped so deep, I could've ladled up some of the earth core's magma and by the time it gets up, it turned into an obsidian ball. 😅 So my best wishes go out to you, may the treatment/transformation go well and stick, giving you back your happiness and making you feel better and better every day. 🌹

I don't think I could walk more than 10 feet without falling down when I was 4, let alone wrestle effectively! These two boys are amazing and what great coaching/parenting!

and unlike striking sports they don'y have to worry much about brain damage from a young age from competing I think everyone should know how to strike but be careful with how much your kids get hit in the head

This was awesome. These little guys actually showed some wrestling basics understanding and put in a great effort.

The families should have them train together. They can master the technique without getting hurt. This is too wholesome.

Precious and innocent and learning how to complete. Letting them know there are rules , it's awesome. Props to these loving and caring and responsible parents. I'm surprised there not wearing head gear.

What an outstanding example of consistent healthy practice, competition, athleticism. sportsmanship, and perhaps more importantly, most-outstanding parenting. As a parent of 2 little ones, and a retired professional athlete, this was truly inspiring!

That is so adorable. I wrestled in high school. These kids actually had some technique. That was awesome. Good job guys 👍

Honestly they looks like they are just having so much fun 😊 I love it!!! The excitement/ side dancing 🤣 you can tell they just have love for the sport over all and have not been pressured into it

Fast forward about 50 yrs and show this to those two young men..this is truly awesome. Great job by all involved.

Both these kids if they stick to it will Be studs in high-school and college good luck to both in there future!

I remember my kid’s 1st match in the 9th grade. It wasn’t pretty. He was a chunky, clumsy kid… He ended up becoming the State D3 Heavyweight Champion in his senior year, going on to a good showing at all states too. He earned the 1st state championship in the school’s history. What an amazing ride it was. A lot of time spent in uncomfortable bleachers, waiting through hours and hours of matches to cheer him on. I couldn’t recommend any sport more highly for the personal development of kids.

I love that these young men are learning a sport, behaving well & having fun. It’s so important that kids learn early to respect eachother and I believe good sportsmanship is an excellent way to do that. Great job to the league and the parents and the young athletes! It also promotes concentration and taking things seriously while still being able to have fun. Awesome job! 👍👍

I didn’t know they had wrestling for kids that age. They actually have really good fundamentals and know the basics of what they’re doing.

This will serve these kids so well throughout their youth. It teaches them early on not to see themselves victims. Self awareness and defense are a lifelong skill set. Bravo to the parents.

The blonde kid has really good fundamentals even at this young age.

Finally, I have found a sport that I can watch. How long has it been since you watched any professional sport and saw the athlete smiling while they were competing. Smiling and actually enjoying what they were doing not worried about how they looked or showing off or making a name for themselves. This is just the best white in these 2 little guys go after it.

I remember when my boys started out wrestling in preschool. Oh how I wish I'd had a video of them, priceless

They were having fun and learning … good skills and top marks to the parents for getting their kids into sport 👊

Priceless, I loved seeing them run in circles and doing those flailing arm swings and hopping around a bit.

I always wanted to be a daddy so I could see this in person. Now I'm almost 40 and no wife/children. I feel robbed. Moments like this would have been the highlight of my life.

I guess I'll take what I can get in that regard and enjoy watching them growing up and doing the things they enjoy. She doesn't want anymore kids and is close to her mid-40s so I can understand that.

As a former wrestler, I have to say it taught me so much about discipline and not giving up. It helped me to be a a starter for every game of rugby league as a young teenager (very small teenager). Continued playing the game years later as a 27 year old reserve grade player.

Rugby union for me. Started at 7. No health and safety in those days 🤣🤣🤣 But yeah it so important for kids to get into team sports teaches them so many skills not just the sport aspect. 💯💪

I wrestled in HS and raced dirt bikes after HS because all I ever saw in team sports since a little kid,--was a dictator coach and a bunch of workers jumping up and down. Discipline is for the self,--not the commune.

What a joy to watch! Everything was a fun and healthy approach to sports with these little guys !

So many great lessons being learned here while having fun at the same time. These kids are being raised right.

This made me smile. Its wholesome. Good coaching, kids having a blast. You can tell the boys have been getting time and attention from their coaches. Cant wait to see the little athletes of today become game changers as adults. Thanks for posting.

I had a couple of 40 pound 5 year-olds on my youth wrestling team. They met each other at Districts. The final score was 23-22, and the ref was going insane.

Every adult in this country should watch this video and take example of how to have fun and compete at the same time. Doesn't matter how good you are wrestling teaches pride and both these little ones are going to grow up with plenty of it. I miss this so much my little guy is 26 years old now finished his 6 years in the Marines and is now expecting his first child I hope I succeeded by bringing him up the great sport of wrestling.

@@jg6698 that's where your kind of wrong, they either like the sport or don't. There is no in between. Wrestling is such a demanding sport that you either grow to love it and keep doing it or you quit. There is no burnout

They actually had some pretty good techniques. Even at the end when they were both getting tired, they still wanted to wrassle some more. Fun stuff.

To see 2 young men not get frustrated is an amazing testament to the parents and coaches. Thank you for the video.

It's the smiles and the obvious enjoyment that these boys have that really gets me. We lose that as we get into High School and College. Thanks so much.

They are so cute. Please always keep it fun for them, they'll enjoy it more and who knows where it'll lead.

This is just too cute. The muscles on the boys were poppin. Their feet got heavy after that 2 minute mark.

This is a great example of kids learning sportsmanship, work ethics, inner strength and what's it's like to be rewarded for their efforts. 👍🏼

Great Job by the official in teaching and allowing them to learn. 100 to 100 final score with all those reversals and escapes! Love watching this!

these young men understand hip balance and performed some excellent sit outs.... these kids have learned the basics of escaping trouble very well. One kid really knew how to make space when he was in trouble.

Love it for the values I see getting installed so young. Also love wrestlers! As football coach you seek out these guys with heart , determination and motor!!! Guarantee these young dudes will be fine young men. Guaranteed.

I am a high school wrestling referee who occasionally has the opportunity to officiate these little dudes. They are so darned cute! Sometimes I struggle between my duty to blow the whistle and just pinching their cute little cheeks! LOL. But seriously, it's so much fun and when they start out this young, they are darned good wrestlers by the time they hit double digits at 10 years old!

This video is an absolute classic. Something to show their grandkids 50 years from now.

I hope to see them both in the Olympics in 16 to 20 years! 😀

I wrestled in college so I felt it was my duty to coach and referee when my nephew started wrestling at about that age. He wasn't much better than these kids and had a blast coaching him. I'd actually get more nervous for his matches than I did for my own! He went on to have a pretty distinguished high school career. Loved it but refing the peewee was tough tho. To much aimless flopping around, but loved every minute of it!

Ah yes, that "aimless flopping around." I call it "spaghetti wrestling!" As an official, it makes it super important to hold giving points until control or change of control is actually proven.

If you want something to fall asleep to, the WNBA is another white noise sleep inducer. Lol😂 The wrestlers in this video are easily more entertaining and sportsmanlike than the wnba players with their missed layups and ill behaviour / punchout brawls etc.

This is hilariously wonderful. They will learn so much being in an organized activity. Most important, the boys themselves seem to enjoy it.

I don’t think I could handle either of these two boys! These little guys have some skills on the wrestling mat. You gotta love kids. Especially this age. Yeah, kids can cry, they can drive you crazy, they put a lot of demands on you, but when they tell you they love you they mean it, when they laugh it is never fake, when the have fun they really have fun, when they ask a question it is always sincere, and they bring a lot of joy into your life. These two boys look like they have some positive influences in their lives. Thank God for these two young boys and may they grow up to be good, strong men.

This was pretty cool to watch. I didn't realize kids had the opportunity to wrestle at such a young age. I noticed how the kid with red socks hooked his leg with the other kid's leg. Good skills.

Great character development for each child. Just ensure we also teach the great sportsmanship that we need for these future wrestlers int he future.
