@@user-te9wx5ir6y It's going to be interesting to see how training BJJ at such a young age... how it affects the body. Kids are starting so young these days, maybe it's a way around all those broken fingers and screwed up elbows, knees, backs and necks. I agree with you though it's the wrong way to the first injuries. You don't realize how these will affect you over time or at least I didn't. Maybe doing this at such a young age... builds up the bones and joints.

@milktv2596 That's the catch-22 that parents put themselves in. Yes starting kids early ingrains the skills into them, but I agree that not only does the child lose interest in the sport in the future, but also exercising and working out too early in life negatively affects the child's bones and joints and stunts their growth Therefore less experienced viewers think the child is a prodigy and will excel in every way, but I know for a fact that it usually doesn't work out that way

This is a submission match with I guess whatever style a person does otherwise that kid in red would've been pinned in the beginning of the video. These two boys or the shirtless one more so was a wrestler first and foremost and with wrestling knowledge, it's easier to catch the submissions regardless if a person does BJJ, catch, sambo, judo, or whatever.

Because of wrestling. You're not seeing pure BJJ here. You're seeing wrestling and then the subs of BJJ and other ground fighting with it. I wrestled so I know wrestling when I see it; it's the oldest grappling style since the beginning of mankind.

@@GQLocOnly kid really using wresting is the shirtless kid you can tell which on is more versed where, red kid bjj more advanced, his armbar attempts, choke attempt and leg locks shows how elite he is at his very young age, other kid using angles to take him down shows his wrestling is also elite for his age. They meet up as teenagers with kid with no shirt improving his BJJ and kid in red improving his wrestling it will be a match in history like this one, but you can definitely see more than wrestling here if you don't you need to expand your knowledge on the sport I can point outs lots of examples but pointed out obvious ones first

This reminds me of my childhood. My dad was a Greco-Roman & Freestyle champion, and he had been training me since I was at least 2 years old. I started training more seriously at a studio, along with multiple forms of martial arts. At age 13, I started studying shoot-wrestling. I was a professional at that for a minor league competition promotion by age 15. Roderick Toombs, aka Rowdy Roddy Piper, started his professional wrestling career at the same age. I had multiple championships, even though I was the youngest, and one of the smallest guys in the league. My career lasted 4 years before I went into the US Army.
