One of the more PRICELESS jokes I heard from my grandfather before he made that giant leap into the great beyond. I still enjoy the one Norm MacDonald tells about the moth flying into a barbershop looking for a shot and a beer. The barber quickly tells the moth, " this is a barbershop, NOT A BAR, why'd ya fly in here?" The moth said; " Well, the light was on ..." Now, I know this isn't how Norm tells it, but ya get the point, RIGHT???

There's a funnier way to tell this joke and it has a more nuanced punch line: "Two brothers grew up on the west coast and one moved to the east coast. They called each other frequently. They had a cat that stayed with the west coast brother but both dearly loved the cat. One day, the west coast brother calls the east coast one and says, "Our cat Fluffy died." The east coast brother falls apart and says, "How could you just blurt out horrible news like that. You knew I loved that cat." West coast brother asks, "What should I have done". East coast brother says, "Well, you could ease into with a story. Like saying that the cat was up on the roof and we couldn't get it down. We called the fire department. They had the cat but coming down the ladder it slipped away and fell. They tried to save it. But sadly, Fluffy expired." The west coast brother says OK to that and the east coast brother asks, "By the way, how's mom?" West coast brother, "Mom's up on the roof and we can't get her down."
