beautiful print! The background makes it !! And the colors. Nice to see you using your own stencils, I always feel a bit bored to see people using the same bought stencils again and again.!

Hi Juna! I've come across your youtube channel & am watching your July gel printing sessions. I have a 5x7" gel plate & am just trying to learn how to use it. I'm using inexpensive acrylic paints & the odd time I like what I get, but nothing has come out as lovely as what you just showed in this video. It's got a somewhat clean & simple look which I really like & I love the colours. I'm going to continue watching your series. Thank you for posting them.

I love it too! What a lovely print. I’d forgotten about making stencils using a hot glue gun. Must get mine out of the cupboard and actually use it. How long did you leave it to dry before pulling the final print? A few minutes or hours?

I’m wondering the same thing. I’m not sure about drying times yet.

It's hard for me to give a formula for the drying time, because it depends on the situation. Many factors are infuencing the drying time, for example the type of paint, the thickness of the layer, the room temperature etc. So it really is all about experimenting!

I'm so glad I found your channel; these are so entertaining to watch. I really love how your pieces turn out! I usually do very different types of art but I'm super tempted to try out gel printing now!

How long do you let the substrate dry on the watercolor paper before pulling your print? These are lovely!

I can't really say because it depends on the situation: thickness and type of paint, room temperature, humidity, type of paper... So I encourage you to just experiment with this for yourself to see what works in your situation.

Fantastic! How long do you let the white paint dry before pulling the print? Thanks

Thanks so much Avanelle! The drying time for the white paint depends on many factors, such as type of paint, thickness of the layer, type of paper, room temperature & humidity... Best to experiment with that!
