FULL TOUR - OG Home Garage | The Best Garage Yet?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This garage was many many weeks of work. Mike gave the estimate of about 3 full weeks worth of 40+ hour work weeks went in to make it actually look like this. But, I'm super happy with the results and think this chase with the Lista cabinets was well worth it. Lista Cabinets, CREE/Lutron Lighting, Swisstrax Flooring, Sonic Tools, NAD/Dynaudio are all basically my favorite of each segment of the garage, and it's all here in one place.

I hope Mike gets paid very well! He is for sure an asset to OG and is an absolute star whenever he is on camera.
Excellent choice to have Mike on the Vid - the balance between you too is perfect! Matt and Mike "if you want perfection...." is the perfect summation of this video
Team "M&M" of obsessed Garage is taking Garage design to the next level. Nice work guys!
Matt this is the perfect demo recipe. Mikes expertise and perspective compliments yours perfectly. Should do this more often
Absolute perfection Matt & Mike .A pleasure to sit back and watch this and the passionate description of the finished product.
What an awesome garage! Everything looks like perfection. All well thought out 👍🏻👍🏻
Power outlets inside the cabinets is my favorite part. Setup looks incredible !
After seeing the OG 1 in Helen I didn't think it could get any better. Then you and Mike just take it to another level. Excellent!
yes. when the garage build costs the same as a normal home. 😆 that's the definition of success. great content, mindset, and attention to detail. never stop chasing perfection
Brilliant work Matt. This proves you’re the best at what you do.
Need more 997.2 content in my life
Great job Gents! Really loving the attention to detail especially the motion sensors on the ceiling to activate the garage lighting. It’s all the little things for me!
The nice thing about the tv in the garage is watching DIY car repair videos as you work without fumbling with your phone.
Simply amazing- so much attention to detail
Matt I contacted Chamberlain years ago because I requested a new feature to the MyQ app. I told them I left my garage door open all night long. I requested a timer setup in settings where I can set my garage to automatically close if it is still open. I wanted to be able to set the time. I requested 10 pm would be great. They did exactly that. Todd
Much appreciation for this level of detail and design, will be doing something similar one day!
God, this is so good! Motivation to keep working hard to build something half this good. 🙏
Watched this while cleaning my apartment garage! Haha!! Definitely goals here ❤️💯 love the M&M content
Looks fantastic! Man, I really need to up my garage game. Nothing, unfortunately, OG going on in mine. Just straight up NoG.
i am so happy 1 hour movie, im getting my snacks and comfy!
Great work. Beautiful
I'm loving this garage and follow closely every video you guys put out. Love the videos related to projects, construction, etc. I'm curious though... It surprises me there is no refrigerator out in the garage. I have an extra in mine and love having it. I guess it surprises me that we don't see a top of the line 10k fridge out there. Curious of your thoughts. Love the channel. Keep up the good work and great videos.
Matt, you and Mike did an amazing job. The garage looks awesome! With my obsessed for perfection what I can't help but seeing is that center channel shelf doesn't fit the center channel speaker. To get it fixed would be to order up another shelf deeper and have the company cut and router out the shape of the center channel and then taper back to meet the existing shelf. That would be in my opinion. Complete OG spec center channel contoured specific designed shelf.
It would be awesome if you used some Dynamat on the inside of the cabinets and on the bottoms of the drawers, and install a spring or a piece of spongy foam behind the drawers so they don't just bang shut.
Proof! Being rich is great!! There's alot of cool shit to buy like this!!

Loved the video
Crazy, stupid, ridiculous. Love it. Just awesome.
According to a supplier: PaperStone countertops are made by soaking paper sheets in resins and pigments and then compressing the sheets using heat and pressure. The resin used is also eco-friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable, as it is made of bee and carnauba waxes. The typical cost of PaperStone countertops is between $40 to $120 per square foot.
Hahaha you are most def OG obsessed and I love it! Funny the counter top setup is like 1/4 of the cost of my garage 😂 Unfortunately my garage is small would love to have a similar size as you have.
Well done
So epic paint that cabinet wall black and it would be perfection
Yes. This is where it’s at
I can't stop staring at the porsche I just absolutely love it one can dream to one day ride in or drive a well made car like that
Garage looks great. MAn if you ever need another top like that I'll make it for half that and I'm in Alabama. I'm guessing that's walnut. At least it looks like it.
Since Matt is such a perfectionist, I wonder what his reaction was to the loosey-goosey tolerances on the Lista cabinets? I know I would be super pissed.
Man, I love this garage, especially the white cabinets! To celebrate the completion of the garage, I think another garage giveaway is in order. I have the perfect 30 X 40 garage to replicate this garage.

God that cabinet setup is fantastic. One day, when I'm less poor I'm emulating this.
Looked for the Hafela double pull out waste cans but can’t find it on your site. Their site shows the single version but no side by side option.
Oh shit, it's done boys, time to buy a new house!

49:02 how many times has the door slammed into the bike rack?
I would really be curious to see the SwissTracks without the border. Have it all slate grey. There is more than enough going on in the garage and I feel like the border makes the floor look cheap. But it could look fantastic in person. Regardless it’s fantastic! Great job!
Absolutely amazing, 100% perfection dream garage. What I would like to see, and I would think many others as well, is what you can do with a more modest one car 10’ x 23’ standard garage. Here in New York City metro area even many $1M houses are only lucky to have a 1car Garage this size and not any larger. Would love to volunteer my space if needed.
“Ryan got detention…” Perfect ending. 😅
Looks great! Beadmaker is a fantastic sealer to use on your cabinets easy to apply and once coated with first layer Beadmaker can be used to wipe them down. I’m sure OG drying aid would give similar results, I’m just not sure on the level of protection OG has.

I think those cabinets - awesome as they are - single-handedly show exactly why America needs to get over this obsession with barleycorn-size-based measurements like inches and feet. Millimeters, centimeters, decimeters, meters. Precision and clarity and simplicity of scaling up and down. Of course the manufacturer would still have to actually construct things consistently.
@smcox1991

If you don’t know how to read a tape or have sloppy jigs it doesn’t matter what form of measurement you use. Using millimeters isn’t going to change anything.
Absolutely phenomenal layout - great inspiration. I may have overjumped a section or two - did you say what brand, sheen, and color of wall paint you used in this garage? Thanks!

33:50 The German version of Knipex!?
You state that you can get any size Lista cabinet that you want but that’s not true. I worked with your guys on a layout but couldn’t get 18” deep lowers with drawers. My garage depth unfortunately dictates using a max of 18” deep cabinets unless we choose to drive super short cars only. Really, really wanted white Lista’s but have to go another route. Very few “decent” brand cabinets offer white 18” or less depth. Your guys were super to work with by the way!
@progression_decibel
Жыл бұрын
I have same issue with accommodating only a max depth of ~18" on the garage sides. I may be going with Saber cabinets and just rearrange my layout to a different wall so I can accommodate the typical 24".
Can I get that hose when you go to swap it out? Lol
What is the bike rack in the background? I need one of those

Nope, it's working now. We found the leads were loose on the breaker. I don't think I'm going to go through the trouble to swap our number 8 wire for number 6, so I'm going to leave the 50A.

@@ObsessedGarage Well, if you do, consider making the rollers out of a better material than the current wheel cleaning stands on the market.
Why does Mike always mix up the 0-10V dimming? How would applying zero volts give you maximum brightness? This time and the time at the Helen house Matt gave him that look of "I don't think that's right man." but rolled with it lol.
