Ultimate Car Detailing Garage Build. 1 Year Restoration Start to Finish

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The ultimate car detailing garage build episode takes place over 1... very long year. The goal was to build a safe place where I can detail, film, and educate those who want to learn more about car detailing, car restoration, and car paint polishing. This video encompasses 8 years of car cleaning savings, 2 plus years of searching for the "right" space, many months of negotiating, and then 1 year of actual construction. It's been quite a journey. I will have more "behind the scenes" videos on my secondary channel: AMMO NYC STUDIO where I give a walking tour of the building. Sincere thank you to everyone who helped make my dream possible. Hope you enjoy! -Larry

I wanted to point something out that made me appreciate this video. Yes, the design and build of this dream shop is Amazing! What stood out the most was that owner of the shop knew the names of every worker. From the man installing the compressor shed to the man finishing his wood floors. That is a mark of a great man. Respect.

As someone who works in construction this means a lot. There are not many people that know the names of all the people working on their site but those that do will see a lot more dedication from the workers.

It definitely makes a difference! I’ve been working in carpentry since I was 17 & I’m 25 now. The jobs where the owners are on site, interact with the people doing the work and actually go as far as remembering names goes soo much better it makes you feel appreciated and you actually want to do the work.

Looking at all this, at first I was envious...then I realized, you have a business, and you work hard... Then I looked at my office at home. It is my dream office, with a dark red wall pain, slanted portions of the ceiling, similar staining on the hardwood, my custom desk made from a bedframe (to show me, breaking the shackles of best rest ordered by doctors), my books, my model cars and airplanes, and all the little things that give it is final touches. I aint gonna lie...Im a bit misty eyed and grateful that I am able to have such a room. I still kept this old couch, to show where I started...and one day I will build my dream garage too, where I can fit my car and bus collection (I grew up very poor, so everything was a struggle to gather, restore, fix, maintain...) So, if anyone else reads this, know that it can happen, even without luck...even without health (Im broken in many ways physically) but having the tenacity of a pitbull with a toy rope...just dont let go, and hold the line when needed, and push hard when you have your opening for advancement.

Larry you’re drive and passion is truly inspiring. I look up to you immensely. Much respect. I’ve been following you since your inception. I am currently in the process of building my third restaurant. Every one I’ve done prior I’ve tried to achieve more and be more creative than before with our build outs. I’ve been unmotivated and this just inspired me to press on. 🙏🙏

This video was really well done from top to bottom and start to finish. You really know a lot of quality people, artists, craftsman, designers, builders, engineers, etc. That bit at the end really hit home. It's 3:42 AM in Texas right now and I fully plan on taking some inspiration for my own home, studio, and garage although it'll be less focused around cars and more around Tech. Seriously great job and keep it up!

So amazing Larry! Hard work and dedication to your purpose in life will always pay off. Thank you for the amazing videos and for getting people excited about taking care of their vehicles. This channel has educated me, entertained me, and made me realize what you can actually do with your life. This all was earned, not given. I'm humble enough to realize how much we don't see behind the scenes, so thank you again for all you do. The videos are always of great quality and bring a smile to my day. God bless!

I bought my very first 951 track car from Speed Sport in Norwalk. A very special guy. Dedicated, passionate, talented. He shared his enthusiasm and support with everyone. Congratulations on the new building. See you at Caffeine and Carburetors again in '22. Bushman

I really appreciate the way you remember the names of the people working for you, it makes you a even greater man in my book, respect! This is also easily the most ridiculous shop build I have ever seen; the attention to detail is outrageous, so it's nothing out of the ordinary for Larry and his group of people. Been following for quite a few years now, very happy for you and congratulations on the new shop; I'm sure Spencer would've been so excited and happy for you, may he rest in peace.
