Now that Halloween “stalking” situation is absolute BS. But other than that (and I know this isn’t an AITA post), YTA. So many laws broken.

I have to agree with the woman and family on this one. He does not onow how to treat a woman properly their for he doesent deserve one.

As someone who had a similar position as the girlfriend I completely understand where she is coming from. You shouldn’t do anything that will upset someone. If it was an actual harmless and just funny prank then thats ok but when your purposely making someone extremely uncomfortable against them as a “prank” then thats a problem. I was texting a friend i knew for 5 ish years about a serious conversation about something that makes me extremely uncomfortable that she did and i was telling her for like the 4th time how it gives me major anxiety and she just did the exact same thing again thinking it would be funny. After that i blocked her and i dont talk te her that much anymore. The only reason we are still talking is because im in her friend group so im friends with a lot of people that are friends with her.

Imma be completely honest the prank at the very beginning wasn’t bad, and I do think that the parents and girlfriend over reacted a bit and they themselves were being immature about his apology, even if it was fabricated. At least by the way the story was told, but either than that, everything that he did was wrong and obviously if he lost his temper on her he should’ve known that she wouldn’t get back together with him and anything he tried was in vein. (The trick or treat part However wasn’t his fault because like he said, they would inevitably run into her house, but he still could’ve handled it better by saying something along the lines of “I’m just taking my cousin to trick or treat, don’t worry I’ll leave”)
