Last update was 2 months ago, but OP seems to be doing okay. She says it’s easier to cut these people off because there isn’t anything that she misses about them. The only person she has spoken to since the wedding was her dad, but he’s largely unchanged. She realizes though that he’s enabled the abuse towards OP for 20-plus years, so it sounds like OP is cutting that cord too.
